blow_gobi
Sana nga. Otherwise, hanggang Top 8 na lang ang S-G kasi mahirap nang mag-adjust ng plays at tao given the short notice. Quote Link to comment
khilua23
kung sa nangyari kay LUTZ at LASSITER eh nagkakaganyan na ang mga FILIPINO FANS... pano kaya yung mga taga QATAR? in their game against IRAN a while ago, 5 players lang ang nakapag suit up dahil hindi pinayagan maglaro ung ibang players.. nag foul nalang ang team QATAR hangang maging 2 nalang players nila at ma-default ang game. final score IRAN 44- QATAR 4.. LAHAT ITO DAHIL SA KAGAGAWAN NG LEBANON.. Quote Link to comment

junix
too many TOs but it was a gutsy stand. malalaki lang talaga ang mga intsik. nonetheless it should be a sure win against bahrain tomorrow. sino ba ang mga potential na makakalaban ng gilas sa 2nd round? Quote Link to comment
TERRENCE34
Lamang pa actually ang Gilas nung 2nd half 39-32 against China kahit na hindi maganda ang laro ni Douthit at hindi nag click ang 3-point shooting natin. On the other hand, pag wala si Yi sa floor, they seemed to be helpless. Gilas should double team Yi. I salute Chris Tiu for the effort. He was literally sacrificing his body for the team. Go Gilas! may pag-asa pa! Quote Link to comment
Richmond
Height is might really in basketball China got multiple possessions and we are outhustled in the offensive side not able to get those long rebounds. Quote Link to comment
BrightestStar
Gilas will have a brighter future if they infuse young blood like Ravena, Parks, slaughter et al. Quote Link to comment

LAHAT ITO DAHIL SA KAGAGAWAN NG LEBANON.. Yung laro ng Qatar, parang form of protest. Raw deal kasi talaga, pag nabuo mo na yung team, and just a day before the tournament, sasabihin ineligible ang mga players mo. E yung line-up binibigay naman months before the tournament, dapat nag-decide na FIBA Asia a few days after submission of the line-up. Quote Link to comment
catsumhoto
come on guys even with the two filam in the lineup can you still believe we could beat china?,,,, and maybe in the future iran?,.... di naman seven footer tong dalawa.... target natin ay 3rd place n lang.... even if we play both korea and japan we will have a very difficult time matching up with them.... then there is lebanon and jordan to contend with....another match up problem for us.... e this team was form not three years ago but was form this month with the inclusion of pba players.... nasaan n mga original n players from the collegiate rank? TOROMAN know very well that we are overmatch practically in all position if face the top teams in asia.... thats why they rely heavily on marcus and players from the PBA.... even dondon hontiveros knows n mahihirapan tayo s wuhan thats why he quits citing fatigue... heck cya lang b ang naglalaro ng basketbal na ganoon katagal.... remember that players who played in the NBA played a minimum 82 games in a year if you are a starter no counting games played in the playoff....s pba max games by TNT is around 60 games and that for a team that qualify in the finals for the three conferences... kung mamalasin k at d makaqualify team mo you got to play 40 games max.... ang layo ng standard ng international competition from us.... so let stop kidding ourselves that we are still the best one on one players in asia.... i don't see any players drafted or invited by the NBA from the current roster of FILIPINO PLAYERS IN ANY LEAGUE HERE IN OUR COUNTRY Quote Link to comment
