Diesel fuel is definitely cheaper. But considering the price difference, it will take years (for some even more then 10 years) before you realize the savings in driving a diesel variant. By then, you would have sold your diesel car for a new one. Where's the logic here? And yet I own both.

Gasoline from petron. Gasoline is better. For Gasoline, you spend more but less maintenance. Diesel is cheap but when its time for calibration, every savings you saved will go into the expenses of calibration and injectors, you will end up the same.

Petrol kung di sana matraffic. Pero dahil palagi naman mabagal, turbo diesel nalang kahit ramdam ang lag.

If your route takes you on long drives, diesel is the better choice. For normal city routes, with lots of short routes, stop & go traffic, the better choice is gasoline. With diesel cars, you have to wait a few seconds for the oil to circulate before driving off & wait a minute or more before shutting down. Try doing that on frequent short routes. Diesels also do not do well idling long during traffic, with all the carbon accumulating. You have to take your car out on a long spin once in a while. For reference, my diesel car travels approx. 600+ kms a week for a total of 24 hrs driving time. Sometimes, it does 700. What is your milege for an accumulated 24 hrs?

Kaya nga mas ok pa na mag Uber o Grab kesa bumili ng kotse, diesel o gas man yun. Wala ka nang iintindihin na maintenance, parking, presyo ng gas, garage etc.....
