GoyongDP
Diesel engine last much longer. Isn't it the other way around? Diesel engines need more maintenance than gasoline engines. Quote Link to comment
rrr
Diesel.... 19 lang per liter samin Quote Link to comment
Radiomir
Gas lesser evil diesel fumes very detrimental. Quote Link to comment
ultraman16
Diesel. Because sobrang tipid compared to gas. Quote Link to comment
Kingkongphils
Quote Link to comment

IT_MAN
The best ang diesel..especially nowadays kasi yung torque nya pumapantay na din sa Gas. Especially for turbocharged engines.. Quote Link to comment
c32
Depends for me. For city driving and overtaking, I'd pick diesel because of the huge low end torque. But for highway and mountain passes, gas for me. Driving my Subaru on those roads puts a wide grin on my face. Quote Link to comment
RED2018
Overall, both engines have their strong points and weakness. Generally, if you are going to keep your car for long runs go for the diesel as it proves to be more efficient on fuel cost and has a higher resale value. Do note however, that if damaged, the repairs of its engine could easily put a hole on your pocket. If you have plans to switch cars in a short-term period go for the gasoline variant as it is cheaper toown and maintain. If you are also aiming for speed on the highway, gas is the way to go. sandy51
Diesel should be better with today's engine. Problem is that because of politics, diesel here is cheaper. And it is cheaper because of the lower quality. This gives an opportunity for kotong. Buti nga wala na but there was a time when Makati boys would station themselves sa may Kalayaan flyover sa C5 causing traffic sa Taguig and Pasig. Eh ang Makati lang is that portion sa flyover. Do we really think that Makati is so concerned about the polution in Taguig and Pasig? Quote Link to comment
