friendly0603
Webb was just being his usual self, more bark less bite.. he draws the official's eyes to himself by being obnoxious!Ravena just turned that foolish aggresiveness to his advantage. All things went south for dlsu when they pulled out Teng and put Webb in to start the 4th qtr. Almost all those long bombs by Ravena where right smack in Webb's face. Anyway, we wont see Webb any more next year.Am ok with no name defensive players using these kinds of ploy, but not for future stars. I remember Pingris being pulled down by Belga. Does Ravena want to be a Belga? La Salle's offense in those final minutes was shooting challenged 3 pt shots which is the wrong way to go. Shame that La Salle had a decent shot to win and blew it. In the previous years, they didn't have a prayer. This was it and they didn't capitalize. It's one of the reasons I dislike soccer, all the flopping. Quote Link to comment

Dlsu would be in a better form next year, when Jason Perkins, their valued rookie "fil-am" player finishes his residency requirement in order to be able to play in the coming uaap 76. Next year would be their best shot at regaining the crown in this 1st part of the decade-- seeing that Ateneo will field a new "fil-am" of their own in season 77 after he sits out next year for his tenure requirement as well. But still feeling we could've made the finals if not for a stellar 4th quarter from Ravena. I don't want to pin DLSU's chances on one fil-am though. Quote Link to comment
