howarddeduct
the philippines is still in a euphoria with the pacman's win... nothing beats the UAAP prestige compared to this league. the coveted troply is in the UAAP not in this league. so personally, i don't feel or see any excitement in this championship game.Only a few seem to care about the PCC. wackyracer
congrats as well to the fourth placer San Beda Red Lions, the third placer Letran Knights and the runner-up Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles who all gallantly put up a stand to make the PCC Final Four fun to watch ... it is good to see the sportsmanship exemplified by these teams, that despite losing key players in key stretches of the tournament, never made excuses for falling short of their goals (e.g. SBC sans Pong Escobal, Borgy Hermida, AdMU sans Chris Tiu, Ryan Buenafe) ... kudos to these teams who, despite of losing, managed to hold their heads up high and accept defeat honorably, standing side by side with the champions DLSU in the awarding rites ... till the next PCC Quote Link to comment
greenarrow
FYI: DLSU played the entire tournament without a legitimate point guard.LA & Simon Atkins did not play in this tournament due to various reasons. Quote Link to comment

Edmond_Dantes
Iba talaga kung Ateneo natatalo. Walang excuses. Ang VL Salle naman, laging pa-underdog effect. Tama yung prediction, kung natalo sila yun ay dahil kulang sila sa manpower. Kung manalo naman sila, sasabihin nila "we played without a legitimate pointguard", at "we rarely practiced as a team". :-) Quote Link to comment
stonecoldrock
what can you expect from DLSU Quote Link to comment
bagito
Iba talaga kung Ateneo natatalo. Walang excuses. Talaga lang ha? From Philstar.com:“Congratulations to La Salle, they deserve to win this particular game,” said Ateneo coach Norman Black. “Of course, this is not the same team that played in the UAAP so what can I do. We can only do our best with what we have.” Ayos! :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
howarddeduct
Care to elaborate, Mr. Black? Quote Link to comment
xxio
At least he admits DLSU deserved to win that game. I have yet to see a DLSU person in authority to acknowledge that ADMU was the superior team in the previous 4 times they met. Quote Link to comment
