avast alone has been providing me the security i need for my system..  pero just for precautions i also installed ad-aware by lavasoft.. Quote Link to comment

average_jo
Being in the security for quite sometime, i can vouch that there is no all in one product can protect you since malware has introduced different vectors of infecting and propagating.  The weakest link in the Security chain is still human which is subject to social engineering.  Security = Prevention + (Detection and Response) For Security products, always make sure updates and patches are in place to avoid system vulnerability. Sa antivirus naman usually it is Heuristics and multiple scanning cores or engines that makes the product a resource hog. So depende na sa machine nyo at software na preferred nyo kug ano gagamitin. There is always one product to cover one concern. Hey, that's how this industry earns. Quote Link to comment

wynd247
If its a free anti-virus, I'd say use Avast Home Edition. Been using it for 2 years now, and so far no virus intrusions, unless I install them myself!  For paid one's I'd say go with Kaspersky. For business, I still prefer Sophos! Quote Link to comment

simplyeric
Avira plus threat fire free and it works  sa threatfire, basta tama yung settings mo sa advance rules, medyo matanong pero walang lusot na virus at unwanted files Quote Link to comment
TracerOne
I'm using Vipre Antivirus Premium. Although it's not popular as Symantec or Mcafee this antivirus is of the best. Never had a virus issue on my computer since I installed it last year. Quote Link to comment
