geneticfreak
Awesome play from both players yesterday. I didn't even imagine Roger getting back in it after that dismal performance in the first couple of sets and how Rafa held him off in the final set. Well done,he really deserves it. As for the Williams brothers este sisters pala. They also won the women's doubles championship. Grabe. Naghakot na naman sila ng trophy. Quote Link to comment

The_Blade
haaayyy... napuyat akooooo.... lufet ng service ni RF 25, aces! nung tie breaker sa 4th set 3 aces in a row. Pero dapat lang talaga manalo si Nadal. daming wrong call, tse-challenge ni Nadal at tama sya except for one or two. Quote Link to comment

The beauty of challenges/replays :thumbsupsmiley: When Roger settled in the 3rd set (had his fair share of unforced errors in the first 2 sets), both men were holding serves (and aces) already..grabe! Baseline + Net combination of both players...this is definitely one for the record books Quote Link to comment
istaksamson
what an amazing game between two great players. nadal has already won 5 GS titles at 22. when roger was 22, he had only 1 GS title... Quote Link to comment
wizard23
i only got to watch the first 2 sets and i thought nadal will win this time. then the morning after, i just learned that nadal finally won over roger. the first since borg to win the french and wimbledon. nadal is only 22. so imagine how many more years he has to play the game. clearly, this is one for the record books and this year is definitely Rafa's year. geneticfreak
I wonder when Rafa would eventually take over Roger on the Rankings. Must be just a matter of time (and tournaments) now. Quote Link to comment
Brady2Moss
^^^He prolly need to win a couple of big tournaments to overtake Roger. Here's a bit of concern though, it seems Rafa is having a bit of a knee problem, and just pulled out of the clay-court Mercedes cup in Stuttgart. Hopefully it's nothing serious...
