Gloves are good if you are starting out...once you've got some experience get rid of them and get your grip up to scratch. in the long run, it will be better without gloves.

A personal opinion: Don't avoid getting callouses.

 

Gloves affect your lifting capacity and does that by having your forearm sore faster than without the gloves.

 

Lifting straps reduce your chances of developing grip strength.

 

Would I recommend to someone to wear gloves? No.

IMHO. Mas kontrolado ko ang hawak sa bakal pag walang gloves. Pwede naman po gumamit ng alcohol kung tingin ninyo na amoy pawis na ang gym equipment na gagamitin.

i use gloves and hand wraps. yes hand wraps will weaken your grip strength pero para san mo naman gagamitin ang grip strength? pang crush ng coke in can? haha.

I started using gymnastic grips. I basically do several Kiping pullups and gymanstic grips works best for me. Tape is also an option but it's just too hassle to put.

try adidas, that's where i got mine....made sure also, got 2 pairs.

went to Nike Outlet in Marikina Riverbanks and found a lovely gloves in colour pink... maganda pa dito, instead of it's original price which is 900++ I got it for 600petot only

 

Also bought boyfie a new gym bag na pwedeng duffel and backpack at the same time.

pag walang gloves, you can use improvised rubber handles, for the palm para hindi kalyuhin. i remember one of my friends had his old bike's rubber handle cut in the middle, ayun meron na sya pang-gym, hekhekhek!
