kakambaz Posted December 20, 2015 Share Posted December 20, 2015 to start with, gloves. then i forgot them 1 day after laundry day, i realized i had a better grip but you do end up with calluses. the calluses turn into a badge of honor for yourself though after a while. it reminds you of your hard work and that you need to keep on doing it. ryokan21 Posted December 22, 2015 Share Posted December 22, 2015 I guess its personal preference, since each has there own view on the topic, one medal/badge of honor (kalyo in short) the other to avoid Kalyo and make it easier to grip the bars... I prefer to either use it if I have it, if I left it at home tough luck then just use your bare hands... I guess it's fine either way in my opinion...
