Barangay Ginebra Kings

agree! kahit nasabi once ni rodman na madaling aralin yung triangle, management should not have given up yet on coach jeff. bakit di imove yung mga players who do not want to commit sa system instead? and bakit di nila imove yung mga prima donna na players?

Kaso ang mga prima donna players nila happens to be their star players...pagimove mo silang lahat...wlang matitira sa lineup ng ginebra kundi sina mamaril, JR reyes, brondial , monfort and ababou....no offense sa kia and co.....but that first five looks like an expansion team starting five eh...maybe thats why may "pull" ang mga gin players....besides yun mga draftees na papasok puro malalaki na....shifting to big men na ang PBA...kawawa naman kung mawalan pa ng 2 underachieving bigs ang ginebra nyan...

I believe Alfrancis was not replaced by management, he resigned due to issues with management but was eventually prevailed to stay in a new capacity as team manager.

I have a different opinion on chua..... sinuwerte lang sya sa gins nuon kaya pumasok sa finals.... adding to that was a good import in vmac....he coached tanduay, sta lucia and ginebra and until now he has not won a championship....

Mas bilib ako ke siot and jong.... bakit kaya di nila ibalik si siot? O kaya kunin si chot reyes? I am also curious kung nasaan na si perry ronquillo and kung uubra sya

i read it somewhere na perry ronquillo is now back in the phil. to take care of his father and is interested to coach again.

Based on OLD rumors it was the beef between Robert Non and Chua that led to Chua's resignation sa kabila ng turo ng ilan na si Eala ang may gawa. But RSA wants Chua to stay with the team dahil sa pagdadala niya sa finals nung term niya.. kaya nalipat sa ibang team si Non..

IMHO.. Ato, Jeff or Chua, it does not matter kung sino sa tatlo, yung mga players kasi ang may problema. Look at JJ and Mark, ayaw nila sa triangle kasi di nila magawa gusto nila, ayaw nila ng pasa pasa gusto kasi lagi sila ang bida at gagawa ng sarili nilang diskarte.. Their time had come, let the young players shine. Scoring wise ok they can still contribute pero hindi na sila consistent and they are a BIG liability on defense lalo na si helterbrand. They need to get on the same page first, kelngan yung coach na mapapasunod ang mga ma eere at ma define ang role ng bawat isa.. Sayang yung ke Jeff, altho masakit sa mata yung triangle niya, it could have work kung willing ang mga players na mag sacrifice.. kaso mukhang ayaw tlaga nila sumunod..

better to make them both as assistant first para malaman nila kung gano kahirap at para mas ma train sila... then evaluate kung pde tlaga maging head coach...

they owe to the fans na ayusin ang most popular club nila....

nanghihinayang lang ako ke junmar...bigay todo tapos hindi papasahan ni lutz at lassiter... although me plays na pinilit nya (under triple team), he is still the anchor in offense...

I can see the reincarnation of Never Say Die sa ginagawa ng Alaska vs. SMC these championship series.

Daming nakapuna ano, lalo na si The Beast, ibang klase, walang paki ke si Fajardo ang nasa harap n'ya, maski masaktan at tinitira na ni Semerad tuloy-tuloy lang si The Beast

I have nothing serious against Alaska and surely the team deserves all the praises... but winning THREE come-from-behind games is not the same as the numerous games and series that ginebra won.... yun na lang 1991 open conference is very different and more exciting sa series ng alaska w smb....

If GInebra can find a very good coach who can motivate and maximize the full potential of James Forrester and Chris Ellis?

and with a combination of Japeth Aguilar, Dunigan and Joseph Yeo using the Run add Gun style? GSM will be a deadly Force.
