PC gaming - depends sa game and budget... check the recommended specs for the game you want to play and kung ano resolution.

I would suggest TipidPC -- yung forums for anything about PCs. You can source parts there, whether you'll go brand new or second hand.

 

Google ka lang for a model rig, madami dyan then have a checklist of the parts, then isa-isahin mong bumili. Take your time, wag magmadali. Soon, mabubuo mo din yung rig mo. Avoid buying packaged desktops. Ripoff yun.

 

Idea lang sa budget:

 

a decent entry-level rig*(kaya ang mga high-end games in medium to high settings) would cost you around 20k;

 

Medium entry rig is about 25k-30k;

 

Pangmalakasang rig would cost you about 40k up.

 

*Refers to CPU only -- wala pang peripherals like a gaming keyboard or mouse, monitor, etc.

 

Mahal kung bubuo ka talaga ng rig. And by rig, ibig sabihin, hindi lang games ang kaya but can handle other heavy apps (Dreamweaver, AutoCAD, After-Effects, etc.) as well. Tska when you say rig, kasama na din yung porma or aesthetics dun (led lights, gaming case, controllable fans, etc.)

Hi! Medyo busy lang kaya di kita mabigyan ng sample rig setup. Pero You can Google "Pc Gamer.com" para sa mga sample setups. Updated yun monthly. It's a good site. Dami kang matututunan. 😉

Depending on your current setup, pwede mo i-upgrade na lang yung pc mo para mas makamura. Usually, ang pinapalitan dyan is video card and RAM lang naman if game-specific yung gusto mong set-up.

 

Pero don't worry if mababa pa PC mo ngayon, check it's potential din. I had a rig na Core i3 (2nd gen) lang pero kayang kaya yung GTA V at high settings. Kahit mga high-end games like Mafia 3, L.A. Noire, Hitman: Absolution, Batman: Arkham City at marami pang iba. It would really depend on your knowledge on how to tweak the video settings to adapt to your current rig setup.

 

Also, invest on a very good power supply. Yung may independent k*ll switch and a bunch of safety features. Pricey but it will be worth it. Kasi video cards and processors, when used in heavy gaming, can be very power-hungry. Kaya kung mababa ang wattage at walang safety feature ang power supply mo, baka dun ka pa magkaproblema.

 

Medyo mahal sa PC Express. I would suggest Easy PC sa SM North. Gaming rig essentials ang carry ng shop nila dun. Mga gamers din ang mga staff. Hehe! Look for Sam (not sure lang kung andun pa sya). I think MTC member din yun. Hehe!

1.Intel 4th gen-5th gen (i5 will do since gaming lang habo - old architecture na sila pero pwede na for gaming

AMD Ryzen is still pricey but you can opt for Ryzen 5 (new architecture pa...medyo future proof na din unlike sa 4th-5th gen Intel)

2. GPU - GTX 1050, GTX 960 (Di naman siguro habol 4k gaming no?)

3. HD - WD o Seagate. 1tb will do unless i shove mo more than 1tb na laro. You want speedier bootup?.SSD as main drive/OS Storage

4. RAM - 4gb. Gaming lang naman but you can go beyond. 8gb para safe (Ripjaw, HyperX)

5. CPU Cooler - Hyper EVO 212. Mas maganda vs Stock Cooler

6. Power Supply - yung maganda na like Aorus...pwede stock power supply though need mo ng power regulator.

yeah mura sa kanila compared with pc corner I guess due to the rental prices.

 

anyways, I compared the pc build from acer (link below) its $1280 SGD. so around 48k. sa tipidpc nasa 42k ish... so mas mura talaga sa tipidpc.

so for my office pc, I think I would buy yun sa tipidpc. only problem is, if I use credit cards, well... walang discount. broken hearted... wala ako cash... installments is way easier and better!
