Guest Leviticus
eto yung dagdag: 1. Carrying of Restriction Code 1 (RC 1) on the riders’ license. 2. Keeping the headlights on at all times of the day. 3. Wearing of protective devices including helmets, protective clothing and footwear. and #4. discouraging the motorcycle owner to modify their motorcycle or scooter. walang guideline on "modification" pakingshet.. baka pati ang sticker ko na pikachu gawing rason para kotongan ako since it is a "modification" eto nanaman eh.. it's the stupid helmet law all over again. lagi na lang pinagiinitan ang mga riders. eh bakit ang mga jeepneys?!? super modifications ang ginagawa sa mga yan and hindi mo maintindihan na design pa?!? wala pang ilaw and lalong walang protection. PAK YU LTO! Edited August 6, 2008 by Leviticus Quote Link to comment
gumboo_rumboo
just passing through. i used to ride bigbikes also. started with a yamaha fzr250rr, then migrated to a standard super4, an easy rider honda steed400 upto my last bike, Suzuki Bandit. redshirt
Pano yung mga big displacement bikes? Naka design sya na nakabukas ang headlights if it is turned on. Pag minodify natin cya to follow the "2. Keeping the headlights on at all times of the day." rule edi we will violate "#4. discouraging the motorcycle owner to modify their motorcycle or scooter." This is too fcuked up. This is what I do guys. I bring a copy of the constitution in my MC so I can point out my rights if ever I get illegally aprehended. and yes. PAK U LTO! Quote Link to comment
Guest Leviticus
not only that.. pati ba naman ang attire natin habang nagmomotor ay pakikialaman. ok lang ang mga safety gear, shoes, helmet but wtf.. pati slacks? jacket not being heavy enough?!? eh ang MMDA mismo nakaslacks na nagmomotor ah. ni walang helmet ang mga kumag. Guest lightspeed
jacket not being heavy enough?!? huwaaat!?!? you're kidding, right? Quote Link to comment
Guest Leviticus
I did some reading over the net and some discussions with my dad. it seems like this lto regulation is standard practice in the US [please confirm if I'm wrong]. ang naintindihan ko ay before ka magmodify ng [motorcycle] sasakyan mo, it has to first be approved by the motor vehicle department (or something to that effect) to be deemed "road worthy" however, ang pinaguusapan natin ay ang LTO natin, along with the MMDA, PNP, and the LGUs per municipality. ang tanong.. marunong ba tumingin ng modified from stock etong mga mokong na eto? masyadong open to interpretation kasi ang term na "modified" in the absence of a standardization. katulad ng mga jeeps. walang standard ang mga jeeps. and yes, "jacket not heavy enough". pero eto rin. may regulation ang LTO na ang mga jeepney drivers ay dapat nakapolo, bawal nakatsinelas. however, sinusundan ba? ang lagay ay discrimination eto sa mga riders :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment

If they will force me to turn off the headlights of my bike then they should shoulder the expenses on changing my cdi. Some bikes are design to keep their lights on if not the computer box or cdi will blow up. Unless US version ka but sadly my bike is a euro version. Quote Link to comment
