Simple life is the best.  Di na kelangan ng passion or money.  Basta me pambayad lang ng bills tapos pampa-spa every 2 months, ok na.

This is the ideal progression imo. That last step is what you call the extra mile and isn't necessarily a must. Perfectly normal to have a passion that is simply treated as a hobby and doesn't earn income as long as it doesn't count as too much of an expense at the same time.
