Traffic Problem In Metro Manila (Merged Thread)

Recommended Posts

  • 1 month later...

Its all because of Modernized and several alternatives for the mode of transportation.

1. Multiple Subways
2. Interconnected MRTs / Bullet trains
3. Highways
4. Dedicated Bike lanes

Implement the no garage no car policy.

Or more vertical skyways. SMC seems bent on investing for more tollways that will bypass major roads and permit less traffic flow on high pressure areas. These solutions are being implemented already.   I use the airport exchange and it really helps a lot.

ewan ko din lang. not an expert pagdating sa earthquakes pero may fault line kasi sa Metro Manila. kaya nakakatakot ang posibleng mangyari sa matataas na structures if ever dumating na nga yung The Big One na nasa magnitude 7 daw. nagkamali din talaga sila ng tantsa sa dapat na lawak ng major roads simula umpisa.

Take it from me. A major fault line like Marikina is not an absolute danger zone where you cannot construct any kind of major facility. You just have to do things right. If Marikina fault was a real menace, then why do you have so many bridges and fly-overs traversing the Marikina river? The Marikina Fault is in large part delineated by the river.

ung current skyway naten  from q ave to makati di naman din magamit ng majority ng tao... sobrang mahal naman kasi. oks sana dagdagan pero wag naman TAGA ung toll haha d giginhawa ung traffic situation kung less than 1% ng population ung makakaafford gumamit.

kelangan na siguro i phase out buses sa mga may MRT lines. then add more trains sa MRT/LRT. basta efficient ung train system natin i think malaki igiginhawa sa trafic nun.

The previous admin was touting that it solved the traffic problem. Hah! The pandemic reduced traffic that's what happened. And now that we're slowly getting back to normal, traffic has naturally increased.

Anyone passed by Commonwealth and Quezon Avenue this morning? The last time I saw that many cops was during the 1986 People Power revolution. Not during the time of Cory who braved at least two coup attempts, or Ramos all the way Abnoy. And this is just a nothing SONA. Nothing to report after 1 1/2 months of doing nothing.

Idiots and criminals in office think their power will kill them. tsk-tsk.

What’s with the hate?

Hard to answer. With regard o Ateneo, it's just one of those childish inter-school sniping. The SONA, that's been covered. About declaring Martial Law, we're just assuming the risk is there with this imbecile, even though the 1987 charter supposedly made it impossible to declare a NATION-WIDE ML. But since 1987, ML was declared twice in some parts of the country. Once by Gloria and once by that jerk from the south.

The tragedy that happened in Ateneo is regrettable. Any jokes however childish it maybe is not appropriate. You are a better person than that. You can rant about BBM all you want but don’t become like them trolls.
