No its not true. Maybe during sembreak napansin ko gumaang ang trapiko that time. Yung one hour and six min. kalahati pa lang yan ng EDSA route. Pwede yan if inorasan northbound kapag umaga kasi southbound ang mabigat. Edited November 25, 2016 by haroots2 Quote Link to comment
rooster69ph
SAbi nga ng dating admin Progress and economic growth = trafficTo a certain extent that is true.... Bakit ba traffic? So bakit dumadami kotse...kasi bumibili ang tao Kung hindi umuunlad ang kabuhayan, can people afford to buy cars? Quote Link to comment
justsomeguynextdoor
magaling naman manggaya pinoy, bakit hindi gayahin kung anong meron sa SG, HK, in terms of mass transport? not enough funds ba govt? not skilled enough ba tayo to plan-implement-maintain yung mga yun? or do we really need to have those o baka naman simple schemes na may magandang implementation at disiplina lang ang kelangan? Given natalaga yun. Or mabagal ang implementation. Quote Link to comment

BnF95
Is there a solution to the increasing traffic problems in Metro Manila (and Metro Cebu and Metro Davao)? One method (currently being implemented) is the coding system which has been used in Mexico City since 1989 (27 years) and has produced zero (0) improvement, the same lack of improvement has been noticed in many other cities that have implemented this useless system (being encouraged by globalists), in fact, it has been noticed that the major side-effect is worsening traffic due to people purchasing even more vehicles to avoid coding, which results in more cars parked on our streets. The only winners are car manufacturers and automotive dealers, in this system. A second proposal is to increase the amount of roads, which is problematic at best since we are in the middle of a metropolis, where would these roads be placed? We would need to demolish huge swaths of homes/buildings to accommodate these proposed roads, which would be built (usually with substandard materials) by construction firms that would be slow and inefficient in most cases (and owned by relatives and friends of various politicians) which would require annual maintenance (for some reasons, probably because of using substandard materials would cause them to fail in a few months), all of which would cause more traffic. Furthermore, these additional roads would quickly be turned into parking lots by car owners.A third alternative is to create a fast and efficient public transport system, which would be possible if only it wasn't seized by massive corporations and politicians as a milking cow with which to steal yet more money from the tax base of this nation.Perhaps the first step in a solution would be to eliminate all the politicians. calvinzero
Three weeks before Christmas. I expecting a monstrous and chaotic traffic all over the Metro. I want to see if maipapasa talaga ang 2017 national budget. Wala man lang balita about that, December na. Some of us wants to see the content ng budget lalo na sa infrastructure connected sa roads, et.al. Quote Link to comment
calvinzero
Mayroon ba na modern bus transport na kayang mag accomodate ng between 100 to 200 passengers? Kahit ang reference ay from the other countries. Quote Link to comment
Lukesolo
The area where i come fr is cainta marcos hiway and coz of the mrt proj, traffic is just hell. Argonaut
camiar
Remove the Jeepneys and Tricycles from the cities. Send them all to provincial towns and remote barangays where they are needed. Allow only taxis, buses, and MRTs as public transport in the cities. Quote Link to comment
Freddie C.
pinpoint015
When people talk about the traffic here in Metro Manila, a couple of "reasons" were mentioned. PUV drivers were reckless and not law-abiders. Traffic enforcers were corrupt. Private car owners are "maangas." But it seems that one thing is really missing and it will be a good start on solving traffic, DISCIPLINE. There should be discipline in every one of us, not just the drivers. But also of traffic enforcers, pedestrians, and commuters. Drivers should follow traffic rules at all times. Passengers, commuters, and pedestrians should follow the traffic rules (e.g. loading/unloading areas). Enforcers should follow their oath, their duties and their responsibilities. rooster69ph
Quote Link to comment
Gwen Morales
Tapos pag me kamay na bakal na lider na nag i instill ng disiplina sa aten, nagtatantrums ang mga pinoy at sasabihin nilalabag ang karapatang pantao. Haha! May disiplina. Dito lang sa Metro Manila ang waley. Tigas kasi ng ulo. Gusto lahat sila lider. Hehe. Kalokaaaaang trapik. Quote Link to comment
golpidegolat
Freddie C.
UV Express should not operate like a jeepney. point to point lang dapat mga yan. pag tigil sakay baba kahit saan talagang traffic yan. mga pulis at militar pa mga driver or operator. wala magawa mga enforcer. mmeron pa may mga baril yan Quote Link to comment
*kalel*
First i think, they need to fix the mass transport systems... including the buses... Have they tried survying metro manila via birds eye view and see where the choke points are? Quote Link to comment
