ChiliMac
Good Day Guys, I was caught in heavy traffic last night going to office near Mall Of Asia due to the ongoing Pyro-technics display competition. Later on tonight there will be another one so refrain from going to this area. Every saturday night around 12 midnight, refrain from crossing sucat highway in front of AirForce1 because it's El Shaddai's day. I think the 3rd Sunday of January is Feast of Sto. Niño, so Imelda Ave which is the road connecting to Sucat Road will be close as well. Please take alternate routes. Wednesday is Baclaran day. Friday is Quiapo Day. Guys, can you give up-to-date info that you know to warn other motorists and commuters of places that will have dispruptions in traffic. Quote Link to comment
ChiliMac
Oh come on guys, i'm sure you have something to share. This is not just in Parañaque and Pasay, anywhere in the country that would help our fellow mtc members. cheers! Quote Link to comment

Roadworks along EDSA usually start on Friday evening and are done by Sunday night or Monday morning. If you are observant enough, you would notice white paint stripes along "lubaks". Those are the specific areas where repairs will be done over the weekend or the next weekend, or the next, or the next... Quote Link to comment
elmersglue
dapat puro green light lahat para walang traffic Quote Link to comment
dlastknight
Me 2 i was also stuck at macapagal last sat nyt bcoz of the darn pyro thing, had to snake my way to get thru traffic... well anyways dont go to divisoria, or tutuban... for sure there will be traffic... q.c. area... whole stretch of commonwealth during rush hrs(630am-800am & 430pm-8pm) Quote Link to comment
David Aames
For me kahit saan traffic jammed. I am more particular with the time. pag mga 4-8pm ay rush hour yan... bring several packs of cigs or mags or cds even para ma entertain ka while weaving through traffic. In the morning naman, pag mga 7 am ay... ibang usapan na yan pedal to the metal na para nde abutan ng traffic jam. That's why i usually leave home 6am para wala talaga traffic jam. from house to work its only 20-30mins. Wala pang highblood or altapresyon un. Surprisingly though, Sat mornings are an exception. Kahit way beyond 7am na ok pa rin traffic. Quote Link to comment
Guest Leviticus
well.. going to work via commonwealth avoid this place when naabutan ka ng 6 am for sure start na ng traffic hanngang 8:30. take sauyo road. don't pass through kalayaan because ipit ka sa mga service and mga naghahatid going to UP on weekends nagigipit ako sa EDSA on cubao-ortigas road southbound during mornings because of road repairs. to avoid cubao road sa erod ang daan or deretso na lang ng quiapo then ikot buendia via roxas Quote Link to comment
wEbStAr
well, kahit sa ka naman magpunta traffic e. But here are some areas to avoid: 1. Lacson Avenue from 5:30 onwards. Reason: There are lots of trucks passing by this area because its the gateway going to NLEX. 2: Osmeña Hi-way - May times na traffic, may times na hindi. Reason: Same as the reason above. 3: Sucat Road(Dr. A. Santos Avenue) Do I have to elaborate? You can be caught in traffic anytime of the day in this area. Period. Quote Link to comment
