jaypok
yup i think gravesen will be good for manu he's the type of player manu needs coz they need somebody who can boss the midfield we'll just have to w8t and see in jan Quote Link to comment
xycho_g
but gravesen is the holding midfielder, baptista is an attacking one, diogo...i dunno abt him...have no info abt this guy...real needs players like makalele and terry...defense!...haha.. Quote Link to comment
teio
if keane decides to still play... he might end up achoring glasgow celtics' midfield... a team he rooted for when he was growing up... for gravesen... goodluck... i hope he knows what he is doing... and with him packing the bags for rainy manchester... gravesen's spot is wide open for someone like michael ballack to occupy... ryan giggs to inter?... someone is already there who goes by the name of luis figo... and he plays the same position like giggs'... going back to manchester united... there is a speculation that the glazers will sack ferguson... the same move they did when they bought the tampa bay buccaneers... they fired long-time coach john mckay and brought in minnesota defensive coordinator tony dungy... dungy got the pieces together to establish one of the best defenses in league history but can't find a cure to their abyssmal playoff losses... dungy was fired and the glazers lured oakland raiders' head coach jon gruden despite a hefty price of two first-round and two second-round picks plus $8M... but the gamble paid off when chucky led the bucs to their first championship title... fans are currently egging the glazers to hire dutch mentor guus hiddink... _eRon_
Juventus vs. Werder BremenPrediction: JuventusCan Bremen contain the offense of Juve? feeling ko hindi nila kaya, ang daming attacking choices ng Juve & consistent ang defense nila, look for Juve to advance to the final8.. Arsenal vs. Real MadridPrediction: Real MadridAttacking will be the key for these 2 sides, both sides' defenses are inconsistent..magiging masaya panoorin ang offense ng parehong team..i predict na Real will advance not unless Thierry Henry is able to carry his team to the final8 with his goalscoring genuis.. Barcelona vs. ChelseaPrediction: Chelseathe war in midfield & the defense of Barsa will determine the winner of this match-up..malaking poblema ng Barsa ang injury kay Xavi & Deco (hindi ko alam kung asa injured list pa din ang dalawang to..), pero andyan naman si Van Bommel na pwedeng magdala ng midfield..poblema naman ng Chelsea ang 6game ban kay Essien..Lampard/Gallas vs. Van Bommel/Ronaldinho (what a dream match-up!..)..Chelsea's defense is consistent, Barsa's isn't..Ronaldinho will be the key factor..Chelsea will advance not unless Barsa's defense will be more consistent.. Villareal vs. RangersPrediction: VillarealVillareal will advance to the final8 because Ranger's still lack the attacking strength to challenge Villareal's defense..Villareal will win with the help of two key players, Forlan & Riquelme.. AC Milan vs. AjaxPrediction: AC MilanMilan is too good of a side to be beaten by Ajax, quality attacking players in Kaka, Shevchenko & a very consistent defense.. Lyon vs. PSV EindhovenPrediction: LyonLyon has the confidence to win as well as having the key players to beat PSV, watch out for Carew, Juninho.. Liverpool vs. BenficaPrediction: LiverpoolBenitez has strengtened his squad after winning the Cup last year, nice additions in Crouch, Sissoko, Sinama-Pongolle..with the string of clean sheets, i think Liverpool will beat Benfica to advance.. InterMilan vs. Bayern MunichPrediction: Bayern MunichBayern has been a relatively consistent defense and can withstand the attacking of Adriano&Martins..Ballack will be the difference in the midfield.. _eRon_
due to Arsenal's defeat to Chelsea (20pts. behind chelsea in the standings..),football watchers have hypothesized that they are out of the title race..poor arsene wenger, the pressure is on to get back to winning ways & with news that Barsa & other clubs are prepared to make solid bids for captain Thierry Henry..if they lose him,Wenger gets the boot.. poor Liverpool, lost to Sao Paolo tsk tsk tsk..dapat sa kanila na yun eh, sayang nman.. Owen with his 1st hat trick with the Magpies over the Hammers, glad to see Newcastle are back to winning ways,4-2 winners over WestHam.. Paolo Di Canio was suspended for 1 game & fined $12000 for making a neofacist gesture by saluting during a game.. ManU & Arsenal are battling for St. Ettiene&Ivory Coast midfielder Didier Zokora, i hear he's a great player & i hope ManU can get him..he is valued at $10million..i hope ManU can also get Ajax teenage sensation Nigel De Jong..
