buntot
darn, wrong predictions... it will be arsenal who will face man u earlier that i hoped. it would have been nice to see all four square off in the semis. but well... just like in highlander- there can be only one... Quote Link to comment

buntot
Anyone else noticed that sunderland is becoming the Man United reserves? it helps if you are close to your old manager... and frankly, only sir fergie can throw garlands or thunderbolts from his pedestal to rival managers and even owners and still get away with it... luol_deng
The match against Portsmouth was probably one of the best games I have seen United play this season, they dominated the whole pitch too bad they didnt score more than 2 goals but Ronaldo is just on form right now it would be hard to let this season go to waste and not bag a trophy when his playing like this. As for Brown and O'Shea they aren't the household names but they are both good squad players, they know there roles and fit to SAF criteria. I'd say Brown is playing great this season while O'Shea hasn't but thats because his been used all over the pitch. What United really need is another striker someone that will be happy to play 3rd string, Mauncho looks good so far but he needs experience right now and going to Pana will be good for him. Saha fits the bill but he has seen more action at the doctors than the bench! Quote Link to comment
buntot
man u is balanced-team all-throughout the pitch.. some players, even their defense at times may not be world-class, but teamwork will take its effect and permit fairly good players to contribute and allow individual brilliance. probably only real madrid and chelsea right now are teams that have the right balance in the pitch with no glaring deficiencies even with mounting injuries. barcelona badly need a holding midfielder and better teamwork since they rely mostly on individual talents to win games. as for teamwork, i should give tottenham spurs that recognition. no player in the team is exactly a household name but they are surely rising....and it owes to their growing confidence, teamwork and discipline instilled by juande ramos.. by next season, with probably the addition of a better keeper and centreback, this team can dislodge liverpool and effectively challenge the big four. damaso
highlights of the epl matches this week, starting with my liverpool: http://www.dailymotion.com/search/liverpoo..._sport?from=rss finally, we win. this year has been very trying for us liverpool fans. we thought last year the only missing piece of the puzzle was a 20-goal striker. we got torres but still we're struggling in the epl. well, there's always the champions league. we always do well there. man city - arsenal: http://www.dailymotion.com/search/man+city..._sport?from=rss my second team were well beaten. da silva is looking more and more dangerous. tottenham - man utd: http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?d...11508&hl=en portsmouth - chelsea: http://blip.tv/scripts/flash/showplayer.sw...ire.blip.tv/rss Quote Link to comment
