But on the Raw following the PPV, Snitsky was paired up with Goldust. Tomko approached the management and asked why he wasn’t going to be pushed. He then asked for his release, which the WWE granted immediately. In a recent interview, Bret Hart said that when he first won the WWF Heavyweight Championship, he went up to Hulk Hogan to shake his hand. Hogan just ignored him for 5 minutes until Bret walked away. Backstage at the Hall Of Fame induction, while Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin were talking, Hogan went up to Hart to congratulate him. Hart and Austin didn’t even look at him and brushed him off. Hart said it felt good doing it back, like he was telling Hogan to “kiss his ass.” Hart also mentioned that he was pissed that the WWE allowed Shawn Michaels to attend the induction ceremony. “Mean” Gene Okerlund originally requested that Bobby “The Brain” Heenan induct him into the Hall OF Fame. But this didn’t happen since the WWE already decided that Heenan would induct the Blackjacks. Richard Kuklinski, the serial killer who inspired the idea for Stone Cold Steve Austin’s character, has passed away at the age of 70 while serving time in prison. The killer’s nickname was “The Iceman,” which is being used by UFC’s Chuck Liddell. Before Austin came up with “Stone Cold,” the creative team were trying to conjure up similar but weird names for him like McFreeze and Frosty the Wrestler. New Japan Pro Wrestling is trying to use Brock Lesnar to market their shows to foreigners since they’ve had disappointing ticket sales recently. They are trying to ride on his popularity that he got when he was in the WWE. Vale Venis will be out of action until mid June. He had an elbow injury and is scheduled for an operation. Thea Vidale, also known as Shelton Benjamin’s Momma, is actually a comedian who is scheduled to perform in some comedy clubs at the end of the month.It is still unknown if the WWE will bring her back. Stone cold was reportedly upset over Hulk Hogan’s “push” for a possible match between the two of them before he inducted “Mean” Gene Okerlund into the Hall OF Fame. Austin felt that that wasn’t the time and place for it, stating that the night belonged to the inductees. Austin’s line about “opening a can of whoop-ass with Hogan’s name on it” wasn’t scripted and no one knew when Austin was actually going to say it. The old saying that whoever has the mic last came into play, and Austin was planning to say more one-liners at Hogan, but held back when he saw that the crowd was on his side. Randy Orton’s suspension began last April 12. The issue with Orton is his attitude about how he is a main eventer and his feeling that he doesn’t have to follow the same rules like everyone else. Word has it that Orton thinks he is above the rules and has had several issues in the past backstage, mainly with female co-workers and how he treats them.Orton is one of the least people liked backstage, and it seems there is a tremendous amount of heat on him. Rumor has it that the Undertaker, Ric Flair, and Kurt Angle despise Orton.There are also reports that Orton’s 60 day suspension is actually an indefinite suspension. There are other reports stating that they might not bring him back anymore.To keep him away from TNA, management might keep him under contract until his deal is over, while paying him with the smallest amount of salary possible. Orton would have to stay home collecting his paycheck as he wouldn’t be able to work anywhere else. Ashley Massaro will return to WWE action soon, but don’t expect to see her on Raw. Ken Kennedy is scheduled to make his in-ring return next month as well. Stacy Keibler wasn’t asked by management to make an appearance at Wrestlemania 22, but she didn’t inquire about it either.Keibler is under contract with the WWE until July. Many expect that she will not seek a renewal as she will explore other career options in show business since she has gained a lot of popularity from her appearance in the “Dancing With The Stars” series. Right after the Raw following Wrestlemania 22, John Cena was involved in an ugly incident at the Chicago O’Hare Airport.Cena arrived at the airport to catch a flight heading to Tampa. He arrived too late to check his bag in for the flight. He was informed about this, and Cena started swearing at the ticket agents and gave them the finger before leaving his bag and departing for the gate, even though he knew that his bag wouldn’t make the flight. People at the gate were informed not to let Cena in, and he returned to the ticket desk and cursed them more. A manager came out and asked him to stop using profanity. Cena was booked on a later flight. After the “Cowboy” Bob Orton hepatitis fallout, rumor has it that 2 more WWE in-ring talents also have hepatitis.Because of its contagious nature, the 2 wrestlers are not allowed to engage in overly physical angles for fear of potential bloodflow.Despite testing negative for hepatitis, the Undertaker is still pissed at Johnny Ace for allowing Bob Orton, who has hepatitis, to bleed in their fight late last year. Some of the participants of the upcoming ECW One Night Stand 2 include Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Terry Funk, Little Guido, Super Crazy, The Eliminators, Tajiri, and Sandman. It’ll take place once again at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.Masato Tanaka and Steve Corino are rumored to participate in the PPV, but nothing has been confirmed. Chris Benoit has signed a new multi-year contract with the WWE. It is expected that he will remain with the WWE even when he retires from wrestling. When that happens, he will become either a road agent or a talent trainer for the company. John Cena is not bothered by the boos and jeers that he has received lately, and he said that he will still go along with whatever plans the WWE have in store for him.One source mentioned that there is a plan for Cena to become a heel in the near future, but many were expecting that the heel turn would occur at Wrestlemania 22. HHH has been more open about working as a face now, so expect Cena to drop hints about a heel turn in the upcoming weeks. The new ECW One Night Stand has a storyline that will involve an upcoming WWE angle. Rob van Dam is the main person on the PPV’s poster, with a small picture of HHH next to him. It says “HHH vs Rob Van Dam for the WWE Championship,” and the caption below it reads “One Contract Forces An Outsider Into The Extreme,” with the contract being RVD’s Money-In-The-Bank contract and the outsider being HHH.But a new angle has been thrown in. Since HHH might turn into a face soon, it will be RVD vs John Cena for the belt at the PPV. WWE might use this PPV for Cena’s heel turn. The upcoming Diva Search will not only take place in Raw, but in Smackdown! as well. Management wants to use the contest to boost the ratings of the second brand. Jim Ross is back semi-full time with the WWE as executive producer of the Raw announce team. Vince McMahon is unhappy how the Raw announce team is handling things, and feels that Ross might turn things around. Rapper Eminem was present at the Hall OF Fame ceremony. WWE has no plans of returning Eric Bischoff on-air, and rumor has it that they’re waiting for his contract to expire. Mas brutal yung unang Money-In-The-Bank Ladder match, pero ok na din to. yung Casket Match, di naman brutal. Corny nga e. Astig yung No Holds Barred match, lalo na nung nilabas ni HBK yung huling ladder. What a big-ass ladder. tapos yung elbow drop from the top, whoa!!! Bitin din yung harcore match. That was it? Corny din yung performance ng POD. Putik, why were they performnig from such a high place? Di sila masyadong kita ng mga fans, unlike yung performance ng Motorhead alst year. The first one alam ko (Thumbtacks and all) natalo si Edge - then Mick hit Edge's girlfriend. Diba dapat may fight pa after? My cable is showing reruns - almost four weeks kong nakit yung scene where Edge challenged Mick and Mick accepted. gwapogi Posted April 18, 2006 Share Posted April 18, 2006 man... a new d-x team would probably be way cool... i wish the team would consist of - hhh (an original)- michaels (another original)- the hardy's (jeff and matt - team xtreme - replacement of the new age outlaws)- victoria (next best she-man physique to replace chyna) ... and... - john cena (the perfect face-to-heel/face turn - dropping the chain gang thing and going d-x - a better replacement for x-pac). ...that's IMO...
