Josh Mathews interviewed Hall Of Famer Mean Gene Okerlund, who joked that he ran up a bar tab last night that would "knock you out".  Randy Orton interrupted, questioning Okerlund going into the Hall Of Fame for holding a microphone. Okerlund delivered his trademark "Give me a break" and walked off.  Orton began to boast about winning the World Title tonight, when he was interrupted by Batista, who was wearing a suit.  Batista reminded Orton that whoever wins the title is just holding it for him, and that he was "feeling pretty good".  Batista said by Wrestlemania 23, he would be holding the belt again.

The full backstage story on Randy Orton's WWE suspension

Submitted by Brian Cantor on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 6:37 PM EST

Main-event WWE SmackDown! wrestler Randy Orton was suspended indefinitely by WWE (with a sixty day minimum) this past week following a major incident that only worsened his already poor backstage reputation.

According to the Wrestling-Observer Newsletter, the final incident occurred at some point in Chicago—it is being called a "near disaster," and the feeling is that if Orton were not a top name, he would have been fired for his actions.

But by no means was this an isolated incident. It was Orton's behavior that initially prompted WWE management to give Kurt Angle the title vacated by Batista.

And, while Orton avoided a suspension due to being booked for the WrestleMania main-event, an incident after No Way Out forced WWE to nix giving him the title at the 'Mania pay-per-view.

These individual incidents only increased management's disapproval of Orton's behavior; he was specifically notorious for disrepecting female WWE workers.

Although the feeling is that by posting news of his suspension, WWE is practically confirming Randy Orton will come back, other insiders are not so sure that is the case and are even less sure that it will be in sixty days. There is already feeling within WWE that SmackDown! needs to create a new top heel; a returning Ken Kennedy could receive the chance to fill that slot.

Medyo board me sa mga storylines ngayon...

Biruin nyo any 2 of the spirit squad can defend the tag team title?

Eh si Kane magiging heel na naman....

Predictions? on the Carlito vs Cris Masters storyline sana kagatin ng tao.

Eh sa Triple Threat sa Backlash sana Cena pa rin kahit na minsan parang boring na...

What is up with Trish Stratus copying Mickey James after The later copies the former?

my own 2 cents worth.

medyo boring nga mga storylines nila ngaun eh!

sana nga ibalik ung DX pra mgng exciting ulit ung wwe!

ang problema nga lang nsa NWA-TNA pa rin cla BG James(Road Dogg), Kip James(Billy Gunn), tska Shawn Waltman(X-Pac), mga original memebers ng DX! and mukhang hindi cla in good terms with the wwe!

pro ang talagang mgpapasaya sa buong professional wrestling kapag nagbalik ang New World Order! NWO rules, lalo na ung mga Wolfpac!
