ano sa tingin nyo, mas ok ba yung WWF dati kesa sa WWE ngayon? for me kasi, mas gusto ko yung WWF dati nung sina ultimate warrior pa at hulk hogan... andre the giant, jake the snake, steam boat, legion of doom, hart foundation, the demolition, zeus, macho man, barber beef cake...

 

by the way, speaking of kurt angle... alam nyo ba na talagang olympic gold medalist sya? hindi scripted yun...

WWF was lame -- pang bata (for me). Ngayon kasi mas mature na yung story lines and mas may sense panoorin lalo na yung builup to wrestlemania. The time nila Hogan, pang-action figures at pang-bata yung appeal ng character -- so it was OK to watch wrestling kasi mukhang pang bata.

 

Eventually people got tired of the same old stuff, and went to watch the more mature stories (na pinasimulan ng WCW). Ngayon at nabili na ni Vince McMahon ang WCW pati yung creative team nila, he's leveragin the talent and following to cater to the more mature audience.

 

I believe kasi kaya naman nagthrive yung mas edgy and mas mature na story line ng WCW is dahil very cartoonish yung characters ng WWF that time. And when Eric Bischoff made characters that were more "people like" and "everyday characters", he hit a gold mine.

Well, inabot kong pinaka-devastating tag team was Taker+Kane. Andun rin yung demolition team and legion of doom. Although malakas din yung portrayal ng Acolytes, tsaka yung the Brood, Taker+Kane pa rin. Although some will argue that the Rock and Sock connection is something else, ibang klaseng tag team naman yun -- parang novelty tag team for the fans.

Oh, and Kurt Angle is a really good wrestler. The character he's currently playing is a heel, and deserves most of the jeers of the crowd. Pero I respect the guy, kasi he earned his olympic gold medal. Nga lang, nung 1996 at nanalo sya ng gold medal, si HBK naman nag-entrance via a high-wire act sa Wrestlemania.

 

Actually yun yung pinagpupuputok ng butsi ni Angle kaya nya hinamon daw si HBK (according to him in one of the SD! episodes). Pero shempre, WWE pa rin nakaisip nun -- unless may powers na rin si Angle sa behind the scenes politics ng WWE.

'yung splash shelton benjamin at reminiscent ng choo-choo train ni godfather... iba 'to compared dun sa splash na ginagawa dati... 'yung nakahiga na ang kalaban... tapos tatalunan at dadaganan... full body press yata ang tawag dun...

Compared to WM20 I would have to agree. Pero paborito ko pa rin yung nag-live ang motorhead.

hmmm..totoo ba yung kapanahunan nina hulkhogan...namatay daw yung si ultimate warrior...i dont know if it's true..pero this happen during a match nung binuhat ata nia yung isang wrestler tapos yun putok daw muscles nia....then to continue his saga may pumalit na another ultimate warrior..also andre the giant die cause of heart attack...wla lang..na curious lang me and na recall kow lang ito..medyo malabo pa kung totoo kasi i was still a kid at that time and please correct me if im wrong...im open to any comments dyan..thnks in adv... :hypocritesmiley:
