On the WWE site,Eddie's fellow wrestlers have recorded videos of their last messages to Eddie. teio Posted November 15, 2005 Share Posted November 15, 2005 a small reflection on eddie... eduardo gory guerrero... more commonly known as eddie guerrero... will always be remembered for his antics inside and outside the ring... a rare ring technician, eddie incorporated the flair of the lucha libre style with the savagery of north american style... adding comic relief while doing risky maneuvers... his battle with substance abuse and exile from the indsurty were well-chronicled... yet he managed to stage a successful return... highlighted when he captured the wwe title from demi-god brock lesnar... guerrero's tense feud with rey mysterio created so much fuss... and his recent collaboration with dave batista lit up the imagination of fans... of the things that could have been... eddie's death was untimely... he was in the prime of his career... many say that his victory over lesnar at no way out was the biggest win in his career... however, his finest moment came when he triumphed over his so-called "devils"... eddie guerrero will forever be in the hearts and minds of the wrestling fans who had come to appreciate his unique in-ring style and charisma... those who got burned by the "latino heat"... those who cheered during his "lying, cheating, and stealing" days... those who wanted him to become their "papi"... those who made him their "amigo"... viva la raza... And he was able to keep the "Christian" because he used that name (Christian Cage) before he entered the WWE. As for the Eddie appreciation night, maybe I can suggest that we could go to someone's place and watch the Raw & SD! tributes to Latino Heat.
