@darknight -- mag 21k k ba sa condura? ok lang yan kahit matagal, importante is to finish the race. mahaba naman cut-off time eh. join ka din sa eb after ng run :)

 

 

cge lang bro. para madami tayo sa RU1

 

hopefully si Turk active na by that time (mukhang busy pa si idol eh)

 

yep 21k ako sa condura. thanks. sana ma-sustain ko mabuti ang endurance ko para kahit papano e I can finish the race ng mas maaga. my target time will be between 2 hours to 2 1/2 hours. :)

Hi Guys! Im back!!!

 

Super busy last December... kaya wala ako... and medyo napunta ako sa ibang race eh... alam ni ppdd yun

 

but now busy pa rin... and i can squeeze to be back on running again... twice a week... 1 practice 1 race

 

 

I will definitely run 21km on RU1 .... still eyeing to break my personal best... maybe kung may weekend run kayo I can meet up with you guys... pace you kung kaya ko kayong habulin

 

Spirit, Ppdd kung sa RU takbo kayo... alam nyo na kung san ang meeting place after the race! laugh.gif

Hi Guys! Im back!!!

all set up for my subic run hopes my training and condition pays it off.blush.gif and sana ma meet ko yung iba nxt sunday for Condura run.

Got back on running after half a year hiatus in preparation for my first pulag climb, so hard to start again, everything's sore after my first run. Sana tuloy tuloy na ulit, feels good to sweat. :-)

wow mountain climbing. tapos mt.pulag pa. kainggit nmn.

yeah hirap talaga magstart uli after a long hiatus pero it feels great!

do you join fun runs as well?

 

Just starting to train for RU1 21km...

 

My Run workout on Fri, 01/25/2013 at 5:28 PM. I did 5.10 km in 0:29:54 at 05:52min/km.

had a great run last sunday my 1st 21km run outside manila. the experienced was AWESOME, on time sila mag start, accomodating marshalls, roving medics team, and a good hydration station every 2km.

FR sa venue, wide road hindi siksikan, cool breeze kahit ma araw na, mostly uphill sya zigzag road kasi nang subic yun. and most of all ang ganda nang nature youll see the subic port.

overall. SOLID. and mostly mga taga manila runners din mga tumakbo dun kaya enjoy.

FR on Enviro Run

 

i started slow kasi parang naiihi ako even though naka ilang CR na ako before pa pumunta sa venue. ganun ata tlaga kasi maginaw. brrrrr

nung 2nd pass na namin sa j.vargas nde ko na kinaya. i had to answer the call of nature haha. gumilid na ako. solb!

1st time ko tumakbo with sounds from my mp3 player. ok dn naman pala. nakakawala ng pagod

no major cramps this time. naramdaman ko lang yung pulikat sa hita nung last km na. then pag tawid ko ng finishline, yun dun palang bumigay. nakuha pa naman ng stretching at onting masahe

 

+ Bearwin as host.. grabe kulet. dami tips na binibigay haha

+ challenging route. uphill and downhill. sakit sa hita ampf

+ madami hydration stations (water lang. no gatorade/powerade/100 plus)

+ nice medal

+ very accessible yung venue (tiendesitas)

- masikip masyado yung roads

- onti ng marshalls. may mga stretch na wla bantay

- masyado magkakalapit gunstart ng categories. lalo sumikip yung route

- finisher shirt to follow pa daw. claiming kung san nagpa register

- nawala yung timer sa finishline for 16k. nde ko tuloy alam if i was able to beat my PR (2hrs 2mins)

- no hydration after finishing the race. but may 7-11 malapit

- nagkaubusan sa mga hydration stations along the route

- dun sa finishline, wala nagsasaway sa mga iba runners na nakatapos na wag humarang kasi may mga tumatakbo pa.

 

not one of the best runs, pero ok lang. nice to run a different route every now and then

 

next run: Philhealth Run 10k (may sasamahan lang ako kaklase from SG na gusto tumakbo)

^hi ppdd, yes i do but the last one i joined was the txtfire run pa, ran 10k, wanna get back on track, sarap tumakbo ng walang sakit sakit na nararamdaman, haay sana madali lang bumalik.

 

I'll have a magastos february kaya march nalang muna ko magfunrun ulit, contemplating between yakult and ru. :-)

@yrrah: Congrats on the Subic International Marathon... a friend of mine ran the marathon on that event... She's a tough one...

 

been practicing for the Condura Skyway Marathon... everyday 10KM, started Sunday, then rest day sa Sabado... hehe... alam ko na maling training plan ito, pero, so far, so good...

 

anyway, eto na ang isa pang race event ng Runrio:

My Run workout on Mon, 01/28/2013 at 4:34 PM. I did 7.46 km in 0:46:28 at 6:13 min/km.

 

Increasing mileage every week... before RU1 sa March hopefully kung tuloy tuloy nasa 16km sana ako makapag practice laugh.gif

Yun last 5km... by heart and perseverance na lang... makakaya rin yunwub.gif

thanks din bro sprit. regarding sa safeguard event seems challenging tama nga din naman sabi ni rio quality over quantity for that event.

maganda nga ang Safeguard-2XU run... nice freebies... especially the calves compression (PhP1500 na ito)... at sa leg 3, aba'y akalain mo na sapatos ang freebie (don't know the brand/quality/foot type of this shoe though)... hehe

 

I'm already having second thoughts to this event...

 

@floppy, may nakabili na ba ng 21km extra bib mo?
