Another minus for the treadmill is that the gluteus do not fire up as much as when running on the road or pavement. Turn up the incline a few notches (at least 1.5%) to simulate running on the road.

 

i must confess that on lazy days, my cycling and running are done indoors. :blush:

 

i turn up the incline to at least 2, but i find that still doesn't prepare me for pounding on the road so there's really no substitute for running outdoors. wish it was cooler out.

If Pasig Marathon.... the 21k is for VIP only... (thru invites and I'm not invited)

If Alabang Marathon... is the Condura Skyway... I just did 16km there at 1hr:38mins

 

I'll join the Hyundai run... 10km category this Sunday...

Hyundai Run… Totally Fun

 

Considering it free! Singlets and timing chip included… And they gave bottled water on hydration station (hope other race organizer will do the same)… No hassle because of the many race marshal giving up the drinks… you can speed up while getting your bottled water!

 

Well… the venue doesn’t offer much of parking space… the distance for 10km is a little bit long… others say they find it hard to claim their baggage…

 

Overall: THUMBS UP!

True. The treadmill is the final option (for stormy weather or extremely hot/humid days).

 

It's good to get used to the heat. That way, it will not bother you when you race. Just slap on a lot of sunscreen, cover up, stay hydrated, and don't forget the salt for long runs.

thank heavens it's begun to rain. running in the rain = bliss.

Slimmerun 2012 was fun....

 

I saw the contestants of the Slimmers World Bikini Contest... It was eye popping and jaw dropping...

They led the warm up and cool down exercises... and the mingle with the crowd!

 

I ran 3km at a time of 15mins 27secs... medyo pagod kasi naka 2 rounds ako sa Espa...

Plus napuyat kami ni Ppdd...

 

Anyway guys... anyone considering any meetup runs???

Slimmerun 2012 was fun....
