darth_johnnie_walker
Blazers eyeing Knicks' Curry One team that may go after Eddy Curry, now that the Knick center appears ready to resume playing, is the Blazers. Portland president Kevin Pritchard, who's been after David Lee for years, quietly scouted a Knick preseason game. "They'll do anything for a big man," a league source said. Obviously, Curry is trade bait because his contract runs past 2010. His removal could allow the Knicks to sign two players to maximum contracts that summer. New York Post Knicks deny three-team trade rumor An absurd trade rumor hit the Knick locker room Sunday. It said the Knicks, Clippers and Blazers were involved in a three-team, 12-player trade that would be consummated next week. A newspaper referred to it as a "report," but it actually was a posted comment on a Knick blog by a person claiming to have ties with the Clippers. The deal had the Knicks getting Marcus Camby, Channing Frye, rookie DeAndre Jordan, Jerryd Bayless and Jason Hart. The Knicks would give up Quentin Richardson, Lee, Anthony Roberson and Malik Rose. Knick president Donnie Walsh said yesterday, "It is a fabrication. I have not had any discussions on this at all." New York Post Quote Link to comment

Vegasboy32
I was a fan of the Knicks during the late 80's. That Knick team back then were led by Patrick Ewing, Gerald Wilkins, Charles Oakley, Johnny Newman and Mark Jackson. When they returned to the finals in 1994 and 1999, I rooted for the Knicks. That Knick team back then were led by Patrick Ewing, Gerald Wilkins, Charles Oakley, Johnny Newman and Mark Jackson. When they returned to the finals in 1994 and 1999, I rooted for the Knicks. what i noticed is that when Jordan was not around, Knicks went to the Finals twice in 1994 when he 1st retired and 1999 the 2nd time. and during those times, Knicks faced a Texas city team in the finals in Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs in which they lost twice... Looks like the Knicks are headed for another losing season. The more the losses, the happier it is for you guys. Hehe. But your East Coast team is doing very well. Quote Link to comment

FF
knicks fall to pacers man dis team is going nower...... yahoooooooooooooooo! not to gloat or anything but with the rather poor start by jazz... the knicks losing is a (small ) consolation to what looks like a relatively poor season by my team. with the knicks 2010 pick ( knicks to phoenix to utah ) going to the jazz ... a lot of jazz fans are already checking out the 2010 nba draft . a lot of gaping holes to fill ( PF with boozer presumably gone by next year , center , shooting guard ) ... the best prospect is 6-4 guard john wall . anyway ... the jazz only have a 25% chance of winning the top pick so we still need a lot of luck. sorry knick fans. you can blame this all on isiah thomas whose decisions still haunt the knicks to this day ...
