ganjaman318
PNB is the pits for me...suplada mga teller and their attitude is that you owe them a favor, they are not customer service oriented! Quote Link to comment
likqyd
Banco De Oro in Paseo! Screwed up policy regarding ATM for your savings account. When I opened a savings account with them, it came with an ATM so usually it takes about 2 weeks to process. Unfortunately that time i was busy with work so i forgot to pick up the ATM. After about 3 months i decided to ditch some work to get my ATM. The girl at the counter told me that they had destroyed my ATM because it was pass the date given to pick it up. Question was why didnt they even bother to tell me! What's the reason for giving out your contact information to them, when they cant even pick up the phone to call you! Quote Link to comment
ting_lacson
FYI lang po... PNB is not a government bank!It is a private bank!!!Lucio Tan owns the Philippine National Bankplease also do not generalize... pls specify the branch and also if possible the service personnel involved Quote Link to comment
hitomi
1. RCBC, in cavite (where Bong lives) *drained my little brother's account because it became dormant. they didn't even bother notifying the little kid, tsk tsk. *statement request takes more than a month but when you catch them at a good mood, it takes 15 minutes. *whenever you withdraw, you are scrutinized like a criminal, even though you have been a loyal and regular customer for more than five years. good riddance, transferred to a bank with better service. the only consolation was when i closed the account, the manager suddenly became very familiar and friendly. too late. Pasigboy
BPI, Metrobank, Unionbank, Citibank, HSBC, Equitable PCI & RCBC are the banks I have had dealings with and I would say that BPI is the worst of the lot. Metrobank is kinda bad but their branches have chairs for the customers to sit on and wait. Unionbank is ok in service but their branches often times look sooo old and run down. EquitablePCI is ok so is RCBC. The best services I have experienced are with CITIBANK and HSBC. I often think that the foreign banks really knows how to take care of their customers Quote Link to comment
jopoc
the worse for me is of course..... LAND BANK... pwede ba, dami nyong FORCED depositors (govt employees and govt transactions), damihan nyo naman staff nyo! kahit tellers man lang. the best services given for me is BDO. lalo na sa SM malls, extended banking hours. di na kailangan mag eskapo sa work para pumunta. l3v3l
Land Bank - Grabe 5 hours bago ka ma-entertain...BDO - Dami hingi requirements..mas mabuti if meron ka kakilalaBPI - Same as BDO, kahit account mo pag-withdraw hingi parin ng ID,BwisitMetrobank - Same sa Land Bank pero 2.5 hours ang hintayan..EQ-PCI - okey sana if meron chairs.. pero at least 20 minutes lang wait period at mas okey online transactions nila (unlike metrobank na require IE -- so 90's talaga) Quote Link to comment

Dr_PepPeR
So stay away from the big banks, unless you're a big client expect to wait and wait and wait. There are many smaller banks that you can expect more personalized service from like iBank, Maybank, Chinatrust, Robinsons, GE Bank and other savings and thrift banks. Just a suggestion. insomia
I don't know if its a regular practice in the banking industry but Metro bank charges a service fee if you make a deposit in a branch where you did not open your account. What the hell!!! Quote Link to comment
Immortal666
PNB Felix Ave branch in Cainta near Sta Lucia Mall sucks! I went there to cash my SSS loan check which clearly states that it can be cashed at any PNB branch. When it was my turn (my number was 43, when I arrived it was just number 19 - so imagine how long I waited), the teller told me that I couldn't encash it at their branch as it should be cashed in the same city where my company was based at, which was QC. I told her I already encashed an SSS check at their branch back in 2003 and encountered no such policy. My check and valid IDs had been validated by someone from their customer service counter when I arrived so I asked her why this wasn't raised back then. She still maintained the supposed policy and had me talk to another personnel, I don't know if it was a manager. Anyway, this personnel did give the go signal for me to cash my check there. When my name was called by the same teller to get my money, she still said that there would be 50-peso charge for cashing the check at their branch. I said ok and didn't argue anymore as I was already sleepy coming from graveyard shift. In addition to the sucky service, ang luma na ng office nila. Wala atang maintenance sa branch nila. jojo1234
Why didnt I see this thread sooner!!! Let me start...worst Allied Bank(any branch) - sobrang bagal ng service! Equitable PCI Bank (Juan Luna HO Branch) - this is supposed to be their Binondo Head Office...they have like 20 teller positions in the ground floor but hindi mo makikitang open lahat ng tellers...kahit na mahaba na yung pila sa mga tellers, they dont even bother to open another teller. At most, open lang is 3-4 teller booths and hindi ito lunch break ah! Metrobank(any branch) - for a big bank where their are many clients, sobrang slow ng services nila! Also, I dont know with other banks but if I want to deposit dollar cash to my metrobank account, i have to go to the branch where i openned that account! They dont accept interbranch deposit of dollar cash! Sobrang inconvenient sa depositor lalo na ngayon na delikado magdala ng cash sa labas! best so far for me is Chinabank, never had a problem at all! Quote Link to comment
