'90 nissan california 1.6 sgx..tuned air intake and exhaust

 

good family car with lotsa room and nice mileage but can run quickly if needed..still ok after all these years

 

how do i change the refrigerant though para lumamig talaga yun aircon?

 

 

 

ano nga ba pinalitan sa parts ko? hehehehehehe!!!

 

nde ko kasi masyadong pinansin yung mga parts na pinalitan

 

check mo na lang sa regular Car A/C maintenance guy mo

had EXALTA. ok namn.. pero lalong bumagal nung lagyan ko ng 16" 203/ 50 need to jack it up p para di sayad. ok nman s tingen ko.. diko need ibaba kse dami humps s subdivision namin..

 

ano dapat gawin kapag magpapalit ng gulong at mags? gusto ko sana 17" or 18". ano ang consequences? babagal? matadtag? mas malakas sa gas? thanks.

Have a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder (4x4), 3.5 XE, 6 cylinder. Bought the car brand new and so far walang namang problema. I use for my daily work. Average of 30K kilometer used per month. Ask the Phil embassy what's the process of bringing my car and they said just give 400K sila na raw ang bahalang maglabas sa phil. custom :angry: sabi ko di bali na lang susunugin ko na lang ang sasakyan ko :grr: :mtc:

Bad trip! :grr:

 

Tumirik ako last Saturda sa Letre. Bigla na lang namatay yung sasakyan ko. At di ko na ma start. Flat ang batery ko. Hindi ko naman matulak kasi automatic ( a great disadvantage :( )

 

Ang masakit. Tumirik na ko last Tuesday sa may Navotas naman. Akala ko Batery. Buti na lang may bilihang malapit. I bought a new one. Bait nga nung may ari e. Di niya ko kilala, pero pina utang ako ng Battery. Di kasi siya tumatangap ng Credit card e. Anyway...............!

 

So tumirik na naman nga ako. Nung dumating yung friend ko para jumpstart yung kotse ko... umandar naman. Pero dahil sa sobrang flat nung batery 3 times pang namatay uli. buti na lang sinundan ako nung friend ko hanggang makauwi ako.

 

Kinabukasan nung pinatignan ko. Alternator ko pala may sira. Sayang yung pag bili ko ng batery. :(

 

It cost me 3k to replace the damn thing. Surplus pa! Kasi nag tanka akong bumuli sa casa. 28k sinisingil sa akin :grr:

!@#@#$@#$$ nila!

 

Sana lang matibay yung pinalit na surplus. Any tips kung pano aalagaan ang alternator?

Here's my two cents worth.

 

I'm no expert on Nissans but since your car is 13 years old and assuming that the alternator is the original, it may have reached its natural end. Nasulit na kung baga.

 

When it comes to maintenance, it will probably help not to get the alternator wet in any way. May IC kasi ang iba nyan specially sa newer cars. Also check the tension of the belt, baka humihilagpos na, nakakaapekto din yon sa pag charge ng battery.

 

When buying a new battery, standard procedure ng installer na i-check yung charging ng alternator. Pinapaandar yung makina tapos ipasisindi ang ilaw at aircon. When in doubt kahit hindi ka bibili ng bago baterya, pwede ipa-check sa kanila ang alternator for a minimal fee (bigyan mo lang konting panigarilyo yung magchecheck pwede na yun in most cases).

Not getting it wet in any way. Hmmmm........dapat pala mag ingat pag nalagay ng tubig sa radiator at sa reservoir. Thanks!!!! :cool:

Lupit ng car ah. Okey ang 17".. poging pogi talaga.. pero pasakit sa humps tska mga pot holes.. eh madami pa naman tayo nyan dito sa Pinas kaya good luck na lang! Ganyan dati mags ko.. pasakit sa ride.. ang tagtag!

kung magpapalit ka ng bigger mags, expect mo na maging rough ng konti yung ride, dahil common sense, mas kokonti yung goma na naka connect from the road to your car.

 

hindi tatagtag ang ride kung hindi mo ipapalower, but if you want to have it lowered, you have to go for lowering springs and aftermarket gas shocks.

 

medyo lalakas din ng onti ang gas consumption dahil mas mabigat ang bigger mags.

 

and yes. pag nalubak ka ng malalim, maka ma-oblong ang mags and goma. so ingat lang.
