S14
depends on what vehicle. go to your nearest denso dealer sometimes they can replace these plastic if they are available for your specific model. otherwise check for replacement parts or surplus Quote Link to comment
chubby_semi
^ Thanks. Magkano usually inaabot yung surplus or replacement radiator? Ballpark figure Quote Link to comment
hitomi
S14
yes better to replace your broken radiator than risk overheating your engine which could lead to over hauling your motor Quote Link to comment
eidref2004
I've experienced that with my suzuki esteem ..... the only solution is to replace the radiator or the plastic top if available. Tried using epoxy before but it doesn't hold ..... Quote Link to comment
Google
depende kung mga minor mechanical and/or electrical repairs lang. o kaya mga dagdag ng accessories. but i always change my oil by myself. pati filters. Quote Link to comment

AmpOwtah
Guys & Gals, Have some questions: 1. Would you consider repairing your own car? or mas comfortable kayo dalhin sa talyer ang auto nyo?I'd say both. Repair my own car for minor stuffs and also to those of my knowledge.Sa talyer if ever I need devices that I don't have for fixing my car. 2. Hanggang saan ang kaya ninyo?a. Flat tireThis is easy. I also suggest that all car owners should know how to do this. b. Kahit anong under the hoodTune-up and Change Oilc. Maglagay lang ng tubig sa radiatorEven my younger brother can do this 3. naniniwala ba kayo dun sa mga nabibiling mga octane booster, whatever fix-it or pang improve sa auto? No. My engine works perfectly fine without these crappy and expensive devices. Why should I go buy one? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quote Link to comment
papable
Yung minimal repairs lang. Pag malaki na I would go to the professionals. Hirap na baka masira Quote Link to comment
tocilog
i repair my own car...well, depende sa sira...depende sa tools na kailangan...minsan maxado nang technical or kung electronic na ung makina kasi may computers nang kasama doon... depende rin sa mood...kapag sinipag at gustong madumihan...depende kung may oras... but i maintain my own car (gotta have time for it) ...change oil, filter change(oil, fuel, air), belts, fuse, linis ng karborador...linis ng aircon, karga ng freon, bushings, bearings, breaks...pati setup ng sounds ako na rin... dumarating din sa point na sumusuko ako...pinapasa ko na sa expert tapos pag alam ko na gawin next time ako na... paano ako natuto? nung una pinapagawa ko nga muna...tapos todo observe at tanong...konting pang research...then ako na... it saves me money...hindi ka na maloloko ng mapagsamantalang mekaniko kasi alam mo ung dapat nyang gawin at alam nya na may alam ka sa auto...most of all, iba ung feeling kapag ikaw mismo ang gumagawa...masaya!...tapos inuman na... drodmd99
the better and cheper alternative is dalhin nyo sa mga radiator repair shops sa mga kanto. they change the plastic part into metal..copper ata or something.... ginawa ko na ito sa toyota ko and so far, wala naman problema. just make sure that you check the radiator fluid level every now and then and add radiator coolant to the fluid. the cost....P1000.00 at P50.00 na merienda sa tabing tindahan.. biker620
before yes! now no! digital age na! meron na silang ECU (on bord computer which monitors engine functions) I can troubleshot any engine problems and marunong akong mag fix. Well there are some additives that really works like metal treatment pero yong additive sa oil, enough na yong nasa oil mismo. Tip lang! kung magpa change oil kayo wag na kayong bumili ng flushing oil believe me KEROSENE lang po ang laman non! kaya bili na lang kayo ng kerosene and yon and ihalo nyo sa engine and let it idle for a minute DON'T REV it! turned off the engine and drain the oil! tnx! If so, will I be able to open and close all 4 locks of the vehicles simultaneoulsly as if it had power-locks, with the use of the remote? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
toweringinferno
1. Would you consider repairing your own car? or mas comfortable kayo dalhin sa talyer ang auto nyo?-----i feel much comfortable doing my own car. sometimes, i hate those dirty and disorganized mechanics. wala lang ako obd kaya i leave that to the experts. 2. Hanggang saan ang kaya ninyo?-----from trouble shooting, change oil, tune up, suspension, a little electronics, brakes, flat tire, little detailing stuffs, etc. (nothing major like overhaul) 3. naniniwala ba kayo dun sa mga nabibiling mga octane booster, whatever fix-it or pang improve sa auto?-----octane booster na nilalagay sa fuel tank, yes. specifically iyung whiz octane booster or whiz fuel injector cleaner. this really works. kung sa mga add-on na gadgets, believe me folks, nothing of this stuffs are worth trying! waste of money! a total rip off! hitomi
^am curious, why would you not want power locks? if your car does not have this, you can buy a powerlock system for it and have it installed in lots of shops, including a car alarm. just curious Quote Link to comment
moneyball
