Last September I got 3 Dorado (mahi mahi) about 3 to 4 feet in lenght. 7 stirkes nga yon eh kaya lang hindi naangat ng anak ko yung iba. Last Nov i got 1 tanigue (wahoo) 3 1/2 feet length.

Cost of boat rental is 2,500 plus tip kapag maganda huli.

what area eto sir?

what a fantastic catch!!

So you just come with your fishing pole. How about your catch from the Manila Bay, are they edible? huh.gif So you carry a cooler with you to keep the catch is that it? I thought kanduli is a fresh water fish.

I want to try out sa Manila Bay, maybe its better dun sa side ng SM Macapagal 'no? But where do you park your vehicle? Is it a long walk to the breakwater? huh.gif How long do you usually wait to get a catch?

fishing is a sport of patience and imaginative thinking.....

try to think like a fish and decide what you wanted to eat and when to eat....in my experience where i use live bait to catch big fishes....sometime it takes the whole night

to catch none.....and the fisherman next to me just keeps on landing catches after catches..... patience is your ally.....

sport of relaxation.... i normally bring a book even when i am on a charter boat and trolling......

sport of freedom of time....enjoy your solitariness....people seldom get their time alone .....

for the catches....it does not matter what you catch.

let the fish go if you do not like it.

keep only what you like.....

i never keep fish i do not like

nor keep more than i can consume.

do not bring liquor/alcohol....it does not compliment being alone......

what ever you decide.....enjoy your time and do not rush, enjoy while it last....that's the goal

pag wala ka catch...daan ka sa palengke.......or chinese resto and paluto ka ng steam fish or fried fish with tofu and black bean sauce....

you wont even recognize if the fish is your catch or not...

cheers....just sharing you what i do....no intention of basagan....

peace from an avid fisher.....

May oras ba ang pag fishing?

I use Shimano but gave it away when I left the country.

Saw shimano poles about 5 years ago at Toby's in MOA.

Not sure if they still carry.

hobies of asia is yung bagong "Dampa" in macapagal avenue. they got gear from 2k all the way to 120k!! ang gaganda ng gears ngayon.

totoo ba na mas maraming mahuhuli pag early mornings kaysa tanghali around 12noon

Usually, its early mornings from the rising sun and the early evening during the setting sun.

The new gears are expensive now. Bought my shimano pole and reel for only P1,200.

The one at Toby's was only P1,800
