Jessieboy
We use to go fishing back when my father is still alive. Its like sort of our sport if u may call it that way. Four times a year when we go its like every quarter to places like Bani Pangasinan, calatagan Batangas and Pagbilao Quezon. Its a big group everytime we go, about 8 persons the least. Among the 3 places i mentioned, pangasinan is the best for me simply because well be fishing in china sea, an open sea where large varieties of fish can be caught. Its a rush everytime u feel a bite on your fishing rod guessing what kind of fish u got. Me thrill kase di mo alam kung ano nahuli mo. I even remember us bringing our baon like pork adobo, beef tapa and some langgonisa para ishare sa mga fisherman doon, in exchange they will bring us freshly caught tanigue, parrot fish, lapulapu and sometimes lobster. Not bad di ba? Maybe they missed so much those foods kase nga puro seafoods lang nakakain nila. I missed those days but im planning to visit again when i go back to the phils summer next year. Quote Link to comment

Touching_drip
Went out on a 4 person boat last night kaya lang walang huling malalaki bali nibble lang ang ginawa ng maliliit na isda kaya after 2 hours with no such luck we decided to head back to shore. Anyway, dito sa New Zealand may mga restrictions or regulations in place pag nag fishing tulad ng sizes ng isda at numbers allowable for each person or quota ang most popular na isda dito ay snapper (di ko lang alam kung anong tawag dyan sa Pinas) at and legal size ay 27 cm pag under kailangan ibalik mo at allowed lang ng 9 per person a day apart from snapper puede parin mang huli ng ibang uri pa ng isda katulad ng kingfish which is ample if you think about it, kasi medyo malupit ang fines pag nahuli ng fishery officers, you could lose your boat, trailer and vehicle pag nahuli kaya hindi worth na lumabag ng batas. soul_booster899
iba talaga ang fishing.. we go fishing for bass on sept to feb.. for mahi mahi all year round actually.. mas prefer ko sa saltwater kesa freshwater fishing.. iba ang laban Quote Link to comment
Jessieboy
No limit, as in kahit ilan mahuli mo pwede. Entrance fee is 30 euro for the whole day, kinda pricey pero pwede na rin.
Kroniklez
I love fishing, but I hate having to pay for the fish I catch. that's not real fishing to me. Where can I go "real" fishing? Quote Link to comment

zepth
Begginer lang one thing that may attract me to fishing is the gear. Any suggestions for fishing equipment? I went to Hans Mega Mall this weekend, pero yung mga ladies na naiwan dun don't seem to know much about fishing gear... Start low budget muna, will see if I'll enjoy it... :mtc:If ur new in fishing, wag ka muna bumili nung mga expensive gears, try m muna yung mga medyo mura. Then pag sanay ka na sa paggamit, that's the time na bumili ka ng branded na mga gears.Im using shimano, shakespeare at daiwa... Quote Link to comment
zepth
Do we have good fishing spots in central luzon? Quote Link to comment
Kroniklez
I hate paying to go fishing. It's not real fishing to me.Anyways, that's how it is here in our country. If I ever had the extra cash and time, I'd rent a boat and go fishing for like 2 days. Quote Link to comment

talksh_t
has anyone checked out coloong already after the typhoons? plan on going there this week but not sure if its still affected or has been fixed already. anyway, just send me one. thanku. Quote Link to comment
talksh_t
my two cents worth on fishing - salt water fishing is the sh_t compared to fresh. nothing beats the bent rods and the screaming reals when a 70lbs sailfish or a 20lbs grouper chomps ur bait on a troll. talakitok pare ganda din ng fight be it a 5pounder or 15lbs. but sports fishing takes alot of time to set-up and usually alot of effort and moolah so that u can maximize the experience, so sum fresh water fishing is very much welcome. small and large mouth bass or barras. may times tilapia at bangus n will do. and iba din set-up dito s phils as compared to other countries i hav went to and fished. in my experience, in most places hndi k matuto ng fishing in every sense of the word s dami ng isda compared dito s atin but its all good. worth every single set-up and every fight. anyway, thinking of getting myself another rod and this time a bait-casting reel naman 4 fresh water use. coloong, angat dam, caliraya or laguna lake.
