Sound Set Up - What Is Your Sound Set Up?

Recommended Posts

Well Sony used to make high end car audio products maalala ko yo'ng ES series nila ay one of the best bali katapat ito ng ODR ( Optical Digital Reference)ng PIONEER, at Alpine F1 status just to name a few kaya lang, sobra ang mahal at wala silang masyadong market kaya gumawa sila ng mga entry level tulad nga ng Xplode dahil medyo affordable at pang masa and if you notice yung design nila ay masyadong attractive bali isa yun sa kanilang marketing strategies kasi ganda ng kulay lalo na't na-install sa isang show car.

HU - Alpine CDE-9852

Sub - 10" Kicker L7 Solobaric

di pa naka-setup yung sub kaso wala pa ko seps aty amps. Which brings me to my question:

ano ba magandang brand ng seps at amp? i have an old mbquart 4" na sep (from my old car),

seps. i heard dls audio is also very good. totoo ba? what brand would you recommend guys?

same goes for my amp. medyo hirap ako pumili kasi di ako masyado familiar sa mga brand

ng amps. is lanzar ok?

advice naman...

ok naman ang dls bro... i use a 3 way classic series in my SUV and maganda naman ang SQ...

ok din ang lanzar... i use a 4 channel heritage series that pumps up my two 12" JLs and the DLS... kaya naman...

if kaya ng budget magkahiwalay na amps better... ipon pa ko ng konti and lanzar seems to be the logical buy... :)

Click mo "browse" tapos hanap mo yong picture then click "Open" , click "Add this attatchment" tapos "Add into post" pero it might pay to compress the pics kasi minsan ayaw tanggapin dahil masyadong malaki ang space nati- take up ng uncompress pics.

Here's my old school Ford laser 1.3 hatch back with its car audio back yard installation (DIY). This car is rigged with a couple of 12 inch Kicker solo baric, Kicker 6.5" seperates (front), Pioneer 5" seperates (rear fill), Soundstream reference 405's 5 channel amp, and a Pioneer 4 channel amp, Caps and EQ.

try r.d. lozano sa may marikina, yung papuntang antipolo. i heard muntik na raw niyang talunin si mickey's last year sa isang show. he's the authorised installer of lanzar here in the philippines. ok din. nice sound quality pero di masyado mahal.

you may also check out autodresscode, along e. rodriguez avenue in pasig (along the same street where mickey's shop is). puro sony explode naman dala niya, but he does carry other brands like lanzar, reference audio, etc...

mga bro, i'm thinking of changing my stock car stereo and speakers

gusto ko yung sony explode na my usb at 3 way speakers sa likod plus 2 way sa harap, clarity lang habol ko ayoko nang "bayo"

ok na ba yun?

saan maganda makabili? yung best price

HU = 25k

speaker = 17.5k

dedening = 5k

Alpine 7998r needs an amp. Wala siyang built in amp.

Peerless Def 6 easy to power kahit HU lang.

Sa previous IASCA sa Megamall 2nd place yun ganun setup.

Mga bros newbie question lang po. Im interested sa setup pareho nito. Im planning to buy a civic 1.8v in the next 2 mos and gusto ko rin sana clarity lang (if possible without the subs, amps). I understand the HU of civic is a built-in (sa dashboard) mp3 player. Ok na kaya yun? and what's 'Peerless Def 6?" Is it a brand of a speaker or something? Ano pa po pwede ko dagdag. Sensya sa mga tanong. Thanks in advance!

@jaydawg

alpine 9835 ata ang gamit nya ndi pla 7998r sorry mali... d ko lam ang diference between those 2 HU pag dating sa sound quality

@R40JCS

Tsaka anong SQ speakers ang ma recommend mo in palce of the stock that comes with the unit? And sir, what's a "focal ploy glass v2"? Sensya sa dami ng tanong. :blink: Thanks!

Siguro ok na rin yun, but I seriously doubt it if you'd be able to achieved the best SQ out of that setup let alone clarity. Or, you can invest on a good and reasonably price HU (MP3, HDD, USB) a set of 2 way components(preferrably 6.5")seperates kasi good thing about seperates is there installation versatility and they normally comes with multiple mounting hardware(Angle, flush and recess). Next a 2 channel bridgeable amp just big enough to power 10 inch sub or an 8 if space is an issue and just leave the stock rear speaker. Now, the tricky part, "installation", SQ and clarity are very hard to achieve in a very confine space such as your car that's why it's best suited to mount your mid bass driver as far forward as possible. If your kick panel is big enough to accomodate the 6.5 It'd be sweet, but the hard part is building the speaker pod. In the door is the next best thing, just give a bit of an angle so that it should crossfire at the center. The tweeter can be angle mount in the sill area( in my case I like my tweeters firing up forward in the middle of my winshield and it worked for me just fine this way, you don't hear that harsh frequency at high volume. In my opinion, Amp and Sub combination is a must in a good sounding car stereo if properly tuned and installed. Road noise at 100kph is loud enough to ruin your SQ thats why we use noise reduction material or sound deadening to reduce and combat that problem but still, some frequency can be lost or affected when your car is travelling at a speed especially the low end bass. And this is one of the reason why we employ the sub and amp combination to compensate that low end frequency(Bass). Well, if you are worried about too much bass, you can always tweak it down to just barely audible and make it blend with the rest of the sound. Goodluck and happy sounding!
