i have a problem with my external hard drive. feeling ko sira na kasi nahulog. hindi na rin siya nadedetect ng computer pag ikabit ko sa usb.

 

is there a way to recover the data from the hard drive?

there is, but your hardware or in your case, the USB flash disk should be functioning.

i experienced having my usb drive when ejecting: "generic error: cannot stop now. try stopping later" or something like that.

 

then my task manager : "task manager has been disabled by administrator"

 

i ran avast, even in safe mode. detects some trojans. prompts me to delete. i do delete it but at the end-summary it says: "file error, cannot scan"

 

i took note of the file. it says:

Malware name: Win32:Crypt-CZN (trj) found in C:System Volume Information\_restore{E006438E-3730-4439-8CA3

 

Any suggestions on how to get rid of this?

try downloading combofix from bleeping computer and run it on your pc

Mga bosing I have a major problem at hand! I have a 120GB Western Digital Passport, which is a portable hard disk, USB powered and USB connected, it's running perfect until yesterday. Then all of a sudden, whenever I connect it to my laptop, or any pc (ive tried it with 2 other pcs) there is a Windows message that says: "USB Device Not Recognized." Now sinunod ko na lahat ng advice ng Windows duon sa help section, pero ganun pa rin, not recognized pa din. Bad trip kasi andun lahat ng mga nadownload kong movies and documentaries!! Is there a way para ma fix ko ito? Maybe a software or an update or what? Help naman po papano ba ito? Thanks!!!

Nabagsak ba siya lately or nadikit sa kahit anong magnetic field?

 

Kasi yan ang sintomas kapag sira na ang usb flash disk. Pero iba ang hinala ko.

 

Try mo kaya buksan tapos i check mo kung naka connect pa rin yung hard disk sa USB adaptor niya. Take care in handling it. Medyo sensitive yan eh.

here is my suggestion. can you try using it muna on another PC? kung hindi din gumagana, most probably, your device has a problem. pag gumana, most probably, your operating system has a problem.

try using a different usb cable baka maluwang lang.. pero kung ayaw pa rin sorry to say malamang sira na ang device mo.
