UNDergroundX
Took up Chinese Mother Tongue in Singapore while i was studying there for Secondary School, will never forget it as i always fail or either just pass in all the tests. In the end took up Chinese Sylabbus B as well just in case for my o level results to be good. Passed it but Chinese Syllabus A will never be forgotten Quote Link to comment

pussycatdoll
german and spanish for my european language requirements, but i haven't been able to retain much of either except for the basics, i.e. guten tag, guten morgen, como esta... you get the picture. strangely enough, i've managed to retain more french that either of the abovementioned languages, thanks to most of my barkada opting for the french elective and practicing it in front of me all day. most of the stuff i've retained wouldn't make sense in casual conversation, though. hahaha! Reno
Diga me. Your lolos and lolas spoke spanish? cool man. Pero bakit kailangang i-tinatranslate mo pa sa iyong isipan ang mga words, pagnagsasalita or nakikinig ka? di ba pede diretso? Magiging masaya nga sana kung may makakausap para makapag-sanay ano? :headsetsmiley: Quote Link to comment
Reno
French, at Alliance Francaise. Did it for a year. A bon? :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment

genesisTamerlane
Nabasa ko lang sa isang science journal... pls express your thoughts after reading bout this. Matter and the Void Everything that exists, including us sentientbeings,is only a void, that has no material essencewhatsoever. For matter,is just a three dimensional effect of thevoid;and sentient material existence is nothing morethan an awareness, that feels the effect of thevoid, that takes a material form of color, and shape, bythe deductive foreign mind of the first attention,in athree dimensional space, and time. Matter,as science defined it,is made up of atoms;and these atoms are composed of protons, neutrons, andelectrons;the nucleus of the atom comprises theproton, and the neutron, which is surrounded by rotatingelectrons. Molecules are made up of atoms, joined by the bondbetween the electrons;the molecule of water, forexample,is composed of 2 hydrogen atoms, and 1 oxygenatom;a drop of water is made up of millions ofcombined water molecules;any body of water iscomprised of millions of water drops. Suppose now that we travel deep into the atom, andview it from the inside;the atom would look likesomething, that resembles the solar system:the sunbeing the nucleus, and the planets, that are rotatingaround it,being the electrons. If we measure the volume of the space, that the solarsystem occupies, and compare this volume with theactual volume of the sun and its 9 planets, the ratiowould be,something like 1 : 1000000. The majority of this solar space would be a void, which comprises about 99 percent of this volume. Now if we take a water molecule, and measure itsvolume,it would be like measuring the space, that thesun occupies with its two nearest stars. After comparing the volume of this space, with theactual volume of the sun,and these two stars,we wouldget a ratio of much more than 1 :1000000000 . The majority of the volume, would be a void, whichcomprises about 99 percent or more. If we take a drop of water, and compare its volumewith the volume of the atoms, that comprise the drop ofwater, this would be like comparing the volume of thespace, that the milky way galaxy occupies with thevolume of all the stars, that comprises this galaxy. In this case, the ratio would be extremely more than1:1000000000000,and the void forms about 99.5 percent. Now,if we take the Atlantic Ocean and compare itsvolume with the volume of the corrosponding atoms, thecomparison would cover the whole universe, with all thestars in all the 12000000000 galaxies . The ratio would jump to 1 versus an infinite number;the majority of the volume would be about 99.9 percentof void this time. Now,if we try to analyze this 1% of the supposedmaterial volume, the trip would take us,still furtherinto the depth of the atom, into where the nucleuslies. By travelling into the nucleus, and take theproton, for example, and compare the volume of thisproton, with the volume of its components thequarks, the ratio would be something comparable to whathas been presented up to now in this analysis; theproton would also comprise a 99 percent of void too. And if we go still deeper, and analyze the quarks inturn,we would get the same result;the quark would formmore than 99 percent of void also. If we go still to a much deeper level, and reach aninfinitesimal dimension,we would find out, that matterdoesn't exist in the first place. And in analyzing the neutron and the electron in thesame deductive method,we would be more convinced thanever, that what really exist is only a void, and thatmatter,is only an effect of the flux of energy of thisvoid, which is but one infinite whole, comprised of noother part, but itself, and that everything thatexists,is just part of the flux of energy of thisinfinite void;and the flux is none other than theinfinite field of energy of the circle of light, thatcomprises an infinite number ofinfinitesimal points of awareness attached to thatinfinite flux of live energy. This void and its flux of energy, has no descriptionin the deductive foreign mind of the first attention;for who can pinpoint the void and give it a reasonableand sound description?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!
