lemon
I really appreciate the help. Specially about the connector. I was just wondering about the USERNAME and PASSWORD of the globelines dial up. The GL dial up doesn't use a Password and the MAC asks for it and it doesn't continue unless you input a password, hence the problem. I'll just check the Apple store for the connector. Thanks a lot!!!!!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>here's another idea, if you have a bluetooth-enabled/3G mobile phone, use that. smart is charging net surfing at php10/30 minutes... speed is better than a dial-up at dial-up rate. am using it on a macbook pro also. Thanks!<{POST_SNAPBACK}> well, most (if not all) macs come with all the SW you need... as in word processing, internet browsing, music, video, photo (iSuite)... yung hahanapin mo n lang would be the high end editors, i think ... like adobe and corel.... also games... but as for basics, should all be in there, all orig, all lisenced... and as for pirated... well, i \'m not recommending it, but as many have said... you just have to know where to look Quote Link to comment

I plan to buy one in the following weeks and would like some feedbacks/reviews before I invest in a very expensive hardware.I want to know the pros and cons...I hear a lot of pros in other forums, but none of the cons, pretty much hard to believe.... Well, most probably Im getting a mac anyway.... it boils down to usage, actually... i was thinking of wither getting a shuttle or a mac mini... almost the same ang price, kanya lang, shuttle wont come with and OS and all the programs, comes comes with almost everything... downside, mac SW isnt really, uh, "freely enterprisable" hehehe... and most of my favorite games are Win-based... also mas sanay ako sa windows, although di gaanong kahirap ang learning curve ng mac eh also try www.philmug.com Edited July 19, 2006 by marc.alan Quote Link to comment

At least some of the programs Im using in windows will still be available. I really hope it really works. I also heard of a program called parallels... it also allows windows to run inside mac OS.. pretty cool.... Actually, I already ordered my Macbook, depends nalang on when the stocks will be available. Quote Link to comment
Tom-Tado
for the technical mac users... is the ram of the ibook g4 upgrade-able?the ibook g4 has 256 ram. It sure is! I'm using an iBook G4, upgraded from 256 to 1.2GHz...had it done by Sengco,my mac dealer. The downside of upgrading my RAM is now that it performs so well, I don't have a reason to upgrade to the MacBook! Quote Link to comment
