My very first SE phone was T610 back in 2004, bought it for 12000! then I had W800i on 2005 (during the product launching) bought it at 24000! and now, I am enjoying my HSDPA capable SE G705 using it as a modem to connect my laptop to the internet. Groovy!

I find the Media Center for W595 unresponsive or slow.

I use the file manager instead for browsing photos and playing videos without hiccups.

i got this from rogers. i can say, halos parehas lang din ng iphone. mas ok nga lang ito hehehe. the best thing about experia is, di mo na kailangan ng itunes para lang maglagay ng music or video. downside, konti pa lang ang apps. ang pinakamaganda dito is yung camera nya kasi 8mp sya. best of all, mas cool ang style nya kesa sa iphone.

 

and best of all, nakuha ko ito 2 days after the launch at prepaid sya. now, ayaw na nila ibigay ng prepaid. swapang talaga ng rogers hehehehe. dapat daw atleast 1 year subscription. malas nila naungusan ko sila.

Anyone knows the codes to activate Globe MMS for SE Phones? It's so easy with Nokia but with SE, I'm having trouble. I tried sending ERICCSON to 2951 to get a list of codes for SE Phones but I have yet to receive a reply. Any ideas?

 

For now: http://getmms.globe.com.ph is all I depend on.

try this, i have SE K800i and it works for me.

 

1. Go to Menu>Choose Settings>Connectivity

2. Go to Data Accounts

3. Create New Account. GPRS/ PS Data

Account Name: MyGlobe MMS

APN: mms.globe.com.ph

4. Save Account

5. Go to Internet Settings

6. Create New Profile

Name: MyGlobe MMS

Connect Using: MyGlobe MMS

7. Save Profile

8. Select the profile MyGlobe MMS in Internet Profile

9. Click Right Soft Key to Choose More and Select Settings

Internet Mode: HTTP

Use Proxy: Yes

Proxy Address: 203.177.042.214

Port Number: 8080

10. Save Settings

11. Click Right Soft Key to Choose More and Select Advance Settings

12. Change Homepage. Enter the following parameters and save the settings

Name: MyGlobeMMS

Address: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc

13. Go to Messaging>Settings> Picture Message

14. Edit Message Server

http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc

15. From Message Settings, make your Internet Profile: MyGlobe MMS

Mine's a Sony Ericsson W610 that still working fine except for the storage limit on the sms. I don't delete old sms, So I still keep those messages from wayback 2007. I also got a SE Neo V that I use as a music player.

Miss my old Sony Ericsson phones specifically the mini and mini pro. The hardware keyboard was the best.

 

Not a fan of the current Sony phones. They put out some great phones since they went solo but it kept on getting terrible over time.

Any opinion on Sony Xperia XA1 plus and the XZ series? My techie officemate is vehement against my bias towards this brand but I really love it.

 

My old Sony Ericsson phone is 6 years old and still working. i know the Sony phones would live longer than the other more techie brands.
