Maganda dude... It's way better in terms of Power Output thatn GP or Eneloop...

 

I have no experience yet on BAttery transistor.

I had the same problem with my A570. I'd get a "low battery" warning even with newly recharged batteries. I think it's an inherent problem with A series cameras. What you need are "low discharge" type batteries like the Sanyo Eneloop [LINK]. I've been using the same set of Eneloops on my camera for almost a month now, and I've yet to see the low battery warning!

for batteries I also recommend the ferrari-schumy ones from ansmann. they last longer and hold charge better (even in storage) than my sanyos and I don't get the whining sounds when my speedlight charges up.

naku ser, madami debate diyan kung ano ok na brand. lahat naman ok, depende na lang kung ano budget mo or saan mo gagamitin.

 

pero personal recommendation ko (without going into the dSLR realm) is the Panasonic LX3:

24mm, f/2.0 at the widest

60mm, f/2.8 at the tele end

 

some of the best optics you'll see anywhere. on a dSLR, that kind of lens would fish for about 50k minimum.

 

it has a flash hotshoe and can also do 16:9 aspect ratio :goatee:

Don't be taken in by the pixel count. That is mainly marketing. A lot of high pixel cams are slow. Pixel quality should also be considered, the sensitivity, cycling speed, and color accuracy.

 

And then phone cams are inherently lousy irrespective of pixel density because they have lousy glass--which is what you call the lens.

Mga SE phone cams may 5 Mp na nga ewan if ok quality nun. Kasi not made for picture un. Digicam parin talaga

I am confuse . A store owner in quiapo , refuse to sell the canon sx 110 is due to numerous complain . Dark picture .

i prefer lumix. kung asawa ko si nikon, mistress ko si lumix. gave my lumix to my son na. simple controls, dependable shots. shots are almost the same with my nikon.

My brother used to have the Canon Powershot A460... then we bought the A580. Sa simula wala namang problems with the batteries, until late last year. I thought it's the battery's problem, yun pala meron ding ibang may problem about the low battery indication. Currently, I am using the A1000IS, and since naglo-low batt na sa dating camera yung batteries, ganoon na rin sa camera ko.

 

Just wanna say thanks sa links about this topic. Will get the Eneloop batteries later this week.

i bought my lumix lx3 at quipo recently...good prices. look for watsons,henrys or mayer...compare their prices. they are near each other. if you know where the sm store in quiapo you can just ask the people there. i think its on carlos palanca st. happy hunting!
