Making a penal law retroactive is dangerous and wrong because you are going to punish/penalize someone for something he/she did which was not yet a crime when he/she did it. When that someone did the thing, he/she did not commit a crime and, hence, he/she was never a criminal. Even if a person committed a crime when it was not yet punishable by death, the penalty which was adjudged to said person cannot and should not be elevated to death because that person has already been adjudged to suffer the penalty imposed upon him/her prior to the escalation of the penalty for the crime committed to death. Agree ako sa legalization of prostitution. At least, monitored ang sex industry workers and the state of their health. Minimized, if not eliminated, ang pagpasok ng minors sa prostitution. hyatt122002
1. government employees above 35 should have the right to retire and claim his/ her pensions and other benefits (napansin ko kasi sa mga public establishment matatanda na yung mga employees)2. bawal ang referral galing sa retired/ active employee (kawawa naman yung mga soloist napprioritze yung may mga referrals, palakasan challenge)3. BAWAL MAGUTOM < dapat yung binabayad sa mga politiacians napupunta sa mga in need Actually, government employees who have served at least 15 years of government service can already retire under the GSIS Law and get their retirement benefits. So, bakit maraming matatanda sa gobyerno? Dahil they have the option to avail of the aforestated retirement or retire at 70 years of age and get higher benefits. Quote Link to comment
MisterMiyagi
This one is a no brainer: No more stupid f-cking non-working holidays!!! WTF is wrong with us that we need another day off to celebrate Pacman's fight? The economy is in the toilet and people are clapping that they have another holiday. This is exactly why other nations pass us by. This country is just getting lazy. Quote Link to comment
skitz
^^ Lol! Or at least, decide from the start of the year and declare right then and there which days are official holidays. No more surprise announcements from Malacanang. I almost lost my job because la Gloria, in her infinite wisdom, declared the Oct 31 a half-day (on the day itself). I had shipment coming in from Germany! I had pay the taxes from my own pocket (to be reimbursed by the company) just to get those out before the duties officer closed for the holidays. Typhoons and other calamities are the only "unexpected" non-working days. Just because la Gloria sharted (s@%t that inadvertantly came out with the fart) her pants does not make it a national holiday. Quote Link to comment

bakatora
Legalize the use of PMC's or private military companies. The military has so much red tape to cross that everything gets f#&ked up in the end, also PMC's supply their own vehicles and equipment, granting jobs not just for unsatisfied, but qualified soldiers, but granting more job opportunities to professionals such as lawyers, doctors, engineers and pilots. photographer
A law that requires all politicians especially senatong, tongressmen and president, vice president should at least finished college with a masteral degree para naman maalis at ma disqualify na yung mga Lapids, Revillas, etc. and Require all politicians to be at their office on government time (with some exceptions on official functions na dapat nandun nga ang kumag). No additional jobs (artista, coaching, doctors) aside from being a politician, in other words, no other income maliban lang sa sweldo nila as a public servant. Ban all pork barrels and indicate the true job description of tongressmen and senatonrs. Dapat di sila gumagawa ng executive functions, puro legislative lang sila, in short, bawal ang magpapagawa ng kalye, basektball court, public works. And lastly, ban all posters and tarpaulins with politician faces na nandun. Ban all political posters and tarpaulins. Quote Link to comment
