superfunkibey
People shouldn't be prejudiced or mocked because they are fat. But it is not a state one should be content with either, it is just one step on the road to fitness. 1 Quote Link to comment

girladventure88
Some people are inherently big boned or plumpy, that no matter how much they exercise, they wouldn't get into that slim kind of body. I don't see anything wrong with being fat just as long as they're healthy and fit. I don't know why we have given the word fat a negative ring to it, it's just a word, a body mass and it should not define our worth as a person. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UWjB_z3oZOY/UO7pM5lKCgI/AAAAAAAAFHU/ycgfPcPeokw/s640/poster.jpg 1 Quote Link to comment
bobjones
Not exactly proud, though the extra padding helps with insulation in cold weather countries. Quote Link to comment
maniaclara
not proud, although i prefer meat over bones, whether on myself or on others.i think that all "fat" people, given the choice to be fat or medium (not necessarily thin), or even slightly chubby, will choose to be anything but fat.but really, what people should choose is to be healthy inside and out. (sadly, i'm not.) Quote Link to comment

Though it has been proven that obese people risk illnesses such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, etc. Like the doctors always say, diet and exercise are the keys to a healthy lifestyle. Mango Man
Food for thought: Recent study showed that slightly overweight people actually lived longer than thin people. Of course, being too fat or obese is never healthy. 1 Quote Link to comment
twisterfries
Somewhat proud but as i grow older, i've realized that having a fat figure wouldn't be good in the long run so for the past weeks, i've been constantly jogging at exactly 5 in the morning onwards and i've controlled what i need to eat and the food i used to love. Being fat isn't bad but being healthy and being able to move more is much better. 1 Quote Link to comment
Mango Man
Well, people seem to make the assumption that being fat is okay as long as one is healthy and fit. Eh that is rare and applies only to people who are naturally bigboned (like what girladventure said above). Most people who are fat tend to lack exercise, have poor eating habits, etc. So being fat is unhealthy most of the time. Quote Link to comment
