Mga sir ang pigsa po ba nakakahawa?

kapatid ko kc nagkapigsa sa kili-kili hehe.. pero di naman kami tabe matulog. nagkapigsa ako sa tagiliran ko after niya gumaling.

Thanks...di tuloy ako makapag SPA.. hehe :upside:

hindi sya dapat nakakahawa kasi un body nya un problem hindi masyado nacontrol un skin infection kaya sya ngdevelop ng pigsa. pero if you have an open wound and nadikit ka sa area na may infection sya there is a possibilty that you might get the infection also. you just have to take antibiotics clean the wound and as soon as lumabas yung nana try to squeeze it all out because it will help in controlling the infection

gud day po.

well as you describe it you might have a fistula in ano and the treatment for it is surgery. the thing is that this infection made a tract from inside your anus then out to the skin. this is causing the constant secretions unless the tract is removed then your secretions will not dissappear

i don`t want to scare you bro, pero mas mabuti na mag-konsulta na kayo agad sa ENT specialist..

the symptoms you described might be attributed to a tumor growing sa panga ng father mo..

Good Afternoon,

Just wanna ask po about tiridium...and if theres any alternative like drops para tuluyan na syang mawala...

Any Ophtalmologist here? Seeking your Help...

Thanks

.

Pterigium is brought about by exposure to the elements, especially the sun. There is no full-proof way of getting rid of it, unless you decide to live and work only at night. the only way to get rid of it is through surgically removing the excess tissue, but then, there is a chance of the growth growing back after years/decades.

there are available eye drops, but these only delay the growth and spread.

actually, it depends kung anong klaseng congenital heart disease ang meron ka bro, whether you have a cyanotic or non-cyanotic kind of heart problem..

cyanotic meaning your heart problem causes bluish discoloration of your skin and mucous membranes due to lack of oxygen in your body.. non-cyanotic means no bluish discoloration..

when you say butas sa heart, i`m assuming that you have either a Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) or Atrial Septal Defect (ASD).. it`s good that presently you are active and that you don`t have any symptoms related to heart problems..

i`m not a cardiologist, but if you do have a hole in your heart, eventually if it is not repaired it will most likely cause serious problems in the near future.. my advice to you is to consult a cardiologist who has excellent credentials and explore all options that you may have..

sorry i saw this just now. but doc miggy's reply is spot on.

pterygiums are actually the conjunctiva (in lay man's terms, it is the covering of the eye, just like the skin covers your body) encroaching on the cornea (which acts like a clear window pane through which light passes to facilitate vision) which incidentally should be clear of this covering. once this encroachment happens, the cornea will become opaque (as opposed to clear) and will hinder clear vision.

eyedrops cannot remove pterygiums. nor could they hinder it's growth. what they could do is decrease the pterygiums bulk and it's redness (they have blood vessels) for it to be easthetically more acceptable.

and as discussed, removal of pterygiums could only achieved through minor surgery that is done under local anesthesia and is an outpatient procedure.

for the meantime, try shielding your eyes with sunglasses from the elements like dust, wind, and most importantly, the sun.

panga ang namamaga ? may sira ba ang ngipin ? any trauma sa affected area ? ilan minuto /hours/days nag blur ang eyesight ? san part ng panga (mandible) namamaga ? nawawala din after ilang days ? madami pa questions and kailangan pa ng physical exam to really diagnose his case. mayron ka picture habang namamaga ? namaga after eating burger (with cheese ba ? joke only) kung malapit sa tenga or sa ilalim ng tenga maybe parotid ang problem, either barado ang daanan ng laway or may stone. but then again, better consult your nearest ENT specialist for better management and treatment.

for the mean time, try wearing adult diapers. :)

mga docs, last january ,i was hospitalized due to pnumonia and myocarditis,

my heart really enlarge and my heart was not pumping blood that good

and physically,i feel easily tired, even going to the second floor using stairs gave me a hard time

i never thought working in a call center could really put my health at risk

and now i feel ok,and till now undergo medication, all my 2D echo is good and my EF if 60%(i think)

my doctors says this is ok,

my problem now is my BP

i'm a guy on the heavy side aroun 295lbs ,6'3 in hyt

when i came in the hospital mg BP is normal

when they stated treating me my BP went up to 240/110

i seek your advice:

1.my doctor is giving me medications reanging from combizar, amlodipine, indur, razilez, and drinking these 2 a day and other meds

but my BP is still in the 140/100. recently he gave me catapres,it lower my BP for a week but now on the 140/100 range again

hi. hypertension per se can affect the diastolic function of your heart which is when your heart starts filling up with blood to pump out. Despite having a normal ejection fraction there may be instances that you may have signs and symptoms related to heart failure( easy fatigability/tiring, lower lextremity edema or manas etc). For some patients it may be difficult to initially manage hypertension. your cardiologist may combine a number of medications like beta blockers, centrally acting meds (catapres), angiotensin Receptor blockers etc and depending on your response, he may adjust them.

You may also trying life style modification which can help a lot- daily exercise, limiting alcohol intake and salt intake. Many studies have also shown a postive effect when patients diet and loose weight. a certain decrease in your weight usually translates to a decrease in your blood pressure.

Hope this helps. Diet, exercise, continue your medications and regular follow-up with your doctor is the norm.

PS. you may also try getting an ultrasound of your kidneys. somethimes the problem may be linked to narrowing of some vessels in your kidney or if not a kidney disease.
