Top Rank promoter Bob Arum hopes to finalize the first title defense of newly crowned World Boxing Council lightweight champion and Filipino national treasure Manny Pacquiao against undefeated KO artist Edwin Valero in a meeting in Las Vegas on Tuesday. wasn't it valero who brutally vanquished bobby pacquiao and manny was there to see it. that's why he was itching to get back at valero for what he did to his brother. this is a good pick for pacman's title defense. iba naman for a change para isa isa nya lampasuhin hehehe Quote Link to comment
bret_hart
Eddy Syet
You mean lightweight division? There are no big names in that division. The WBA, IBF, & WBO champ is Nate Campbell and he's 32-5! How many 5-time losers have a belt? Not many unless you're Oscar who also has lost 5 times. By the way, ol' Nate is already 36 years old Ganun ba?... haaayyyzzz... kalabanin na lang ni PacMan yung tumalo kay Klitcshko! Dapat may asero si PacMan para yun ang panapat sa handicap! Quote Link to comment

LYCHEE
Bring on Valero. His last 2 fights were against Shimada 2 weeks ago, and Zavaleta in Dec. (tricycle drivers maybe?). Not only that Valero would have to move up to 135lb. he's got no choice but to go up the weight class if he wants a piece of manny...bata pa itong venezuelan (but based in japan) edwin valero at 26 yo and shows some promise, so evry boxing afficionados expected him to floor the aging 36 yo jap shimada who was a poor replacement to israel perez of argentina... valero's lucky to get a crack of manny's lightweight belt...sana gawin sa pinas (i/o of texas where valero hs been given a license to fight), where p4p-pacman will once n for all can end valero's wistful thinking..
