san ba magandang mgstay sa tagaytay na masusuggest nyo? ang budget mga 2k to 2.5k sa room, and what pa bang magandang puntahan dito, nagresearch na ako at eto lang nakita ko, i need your expert advice tungkol dito, alin ang recommended. and btw, commute lang kmi kaya please help. tnx

Hi, siguro I can consider myself as expert in tagaytay kahit papaano. d2 kasi kami kinasal ni wife eh, pabalikbalik kami tagaytay, manila base kasi kami, we got married sa caleruega and reception sa sonya's garden. If you want to experience a garden like ambience try sonya's garden (near nasugbu). mejo mahal 3000 per head per night pero sobrang relaxing ang place, wlang tv, walang radio, wlang aircon kasi sobrang lamig dun, may books to read and pwede magtanim sa garden and may spa sila (walang ES hehehe). fee includes breakfast and lunch or dinner. pwede din naman kayo punta dun para pasyal lang or picture, pwede din magdinner dun or lunch, romantic sobra yung place niya, 610 per head, buffet ng salad, pasta, bread, bottomless fresh dalandan juice, dessert choco cake, turon n camote-q. try to buy cheese hopia sa bakery nila, yummy.

pero kung gusto niyo mura, sa Mijo hotel, tapat lang leslie's, Iprefer to stay sa side na ito over sa side ng picnic grove kasi sa gabi tatawid ka na lang sa starbucks, or sa mga bars sa side ng leslie's unlike sa picnic grove, walang buhay sa gabi. tapos lapit ka lang or 1 ride ka lang sa casino filipino, mushroom burger, paradizzo, calaruega.

sa Mijo 1600 to 1800, pag early reservation ka mas mura. free continental breakfast. hot and cold shower, aircon cable tv and ref.

We tried din sa One tagaytay nung anniverssary namin, ganda nung hotel, sarap din nung spa nila (no ES, hehe). lapit sa picnic grove, may pool sha pero maginaw, may sauna din and jacuzzi.

tapos we tried zip line for 200 each sa picnic grove. tried halohalo sa good shepered, lagpas lang sa picnic grove. we went to paradizzo, dami pwede gawing activities dun, tapos pasyal ulit sa caleruega to take pictures ulit, romantic din dun.

we had lunch also sa bag of beans everytime nanjan kami sa tagaytay, mejo pricey, but romantic din place and masarap food and pie nila. chicken ala kiev, porckchop using steak sauce nila, any pasta.

 

Mejo mahal lang suggestion ko kasi We make sure na sulit visit namin sa tagaytay kasi sobra romantic ng place and the best place to visit in tagaytay are the little exoensive one. huwag niyo na tipirin si GF or Misis, or Hubby or BF. for sure it will be worthit, specially at night.

whenever we are in tagaytay, we never failed to buy buko tart sa rowena's (way pabalik manila sta.rosa) or Amira's near sonya's garden

 

Place we have stayed:

Econo Inn: around 2800/night pinakamura, w/continental breakfast (not overlooking) parking not safe, free wifi sa neighbor hehehe (hot/cold shower, tv, cable, ref)

Estancia Hotel: around 3500 to 4000/night, w/filipino breakfast, free use of pool, sauna, billiards. parking is safe, (hot/cold shower, tv, cable, ref) free wifi

Mijo Hotel: around 1600 to 1800/night w/Free continental breakfast, parking is safe (hot/cold shower, tv, cable, ref) walking distance sa leslie's and other resto sa side ng RSM

Sonya's Garden: 3000/head/night, includes breakfast, dinner or lunch sobrang ganda ng rooms dito and romantic (hot/cold shower, no tv, no cable, ref, books to read) safe parking

One Tagaytay: 4000 to 5000/night, includes buffet breakfast, free use of pool, gym. parking is safe, (hot/cold shower, tv, cable, ref) free wifi

MC Mountain: pwede short time d2, minimum is 12 hours. 1400 to 1600/night, free filipino breakfast (hot and cold shower, cable tv, mejo layo lang pero lapit sa sonya's, caleruega and paradizoo

Also I disagree with one of the MTC member here not to bring a car, kasi nakakapagod magcommute, walang isang sakay sa tagaytay from picnic grove to leslie's side. mapapgastos ka talaga sa pamasahe d2, pagod ka pa. not unlike if you have your own car, 5 to 10 minutes lang nandun ka na sa gusto mo puntahan w/out any hassles especially pag gabi kasi madalang na sasakyan na public. If you have your car, please bring it. d niyo mapupuntahan magagandang place kung wala kayong car na dala, example, "while me and my wife was driving along tagaytay road, dun kami inabutan ng sunset, I stopped at one side (taal's side) sakto vacant yung lugar, we went out and watch the sunset while sitting on the hood and I handed her a bouquet of flowers (you can't do those surprises kung commute kayo, it was our 10th anniversary nung gf ko pa lang sha

PM mo ko if you still need some help. like places to go. ilang araw ba kayo dun, kasi madami din pwede gawin dun, ang problema ay oras. pwede ka din mag boat ride. sa tagaytay wala naman talaga masyado pwede gawin, yun ang observation namin ni misis, kain talaga, pahinga and inom pwede gawin sa tagaytay.

 

sa highland d pwede and canyon d pwede kasi membership lang. pwede ka din stay discovery suites or vanilla suites, pricey but romantic and memorable stay niyo dun.

wala pa ako feedback dito athough gusto ni wife magstay d2, kaso mejo pricey yung hotel 7.5thou/night.

ito kasi pinagpilian namin n one tagaytay, same sila may promo that time, i think from 7thou 5 thou na lang, kaso mas gusto ni wife sa one tagaytay.

maybe some other MTC member can help, summit ridge is just in fron of Josephines, lagpas pa ng casino filipino (pagcor).

 

try to read some threads outside, kasi dun namin dati nakita yung promos.

sir i'm my choices are down to tagaytay econo inn and one tagaytay place, i've checked the net and almost similar rates lang ang suites nila. Which would be a better pick?

better choose one tagaytay rather than econo inn, econo inn is just a regular inn, wala masydado ammenities unlike sa one tagaytay, hotel/condo experience talaga. both stayed there. i liked one tagaytay betther than econo inn. although if you can drop at econo inn and try their home made apple pie, sarap talaga. too bad seasonal daw, everytime kami nasa tagaytay, we drop by and ask them if available.

The Botique Bed and Breakfast is worth a try. Very nice rooms. A bit pricey, but it's all worth it.

Not really sure bro kung offer pa nila upto now yung 2900 on weekdays, they have manila office, try mo inquire, sometimes they give good deals specially during off-peak seasons, 430-1000 manila line nila.
