Robmeister
Tagaytay is one of the best places near the Metro if you want to escape the busy City and if you want to experience a semi-Baguio temperature and mountainous view of the Taal volcano. Tagaytay is the place to be. The places in Tagaytay is not always being over crowded by visitors, so basically the place is serene. There are also lots of good venues, places and good hotels to stay in when traveling or doing a staycation in Tagaytay. My girl and I just stayed there last week, 1st week of October at the Taal Vista Hotel. The Hotel was a first class Hotel and that features its magnificent view of the Taal Volc. and their service was impressive. Tagaytay is one of my best places to pick when looking for a nature oriented destination near the City. 1 Quote Link to comment

Robmeister
Other than the big and famous Hotels in Tagaytay, like Baguio, you can ask the locals for pension houses nearby that offers a cozy bed and breakfast, with Mom's lutong bahay feel (usually around 1.5k to max 3k per room). You can ask the tricycle drivers and they will drop you to these locations. If you don't like the venue then the driver knows more. Just ask. Food trip: If you are looking for the best Bulalo in town aside from Leslie's and Mahogany Market's Bulalo, Bulalo point would be one of the best spots to savor Tagaytay's famous Bulalo. Although sometimes it is too crowded kasi dinadayo talaga ng tao yung venue. But there are other options if the place is over-crowded. Quote Link to comment
