yes Marco Polo is open already they just have their grand opening last April 27.

Hirap talaga book sa mga airlines ngayon halos full lahat and mahal na ang price.

nothing new to visit in cebu puro new eating places pa lamang.

Sana magkaroon na ng theme park dito.

Well if the resorts in Cebu are full then try the resorts in Bantayan Island.

Its around 3 to 4 hours from Cebu and the beaches there are great

just like boracay minus the crowd. But be sure to call them first they might be full also.

I just spent my holy week in Cebu. Had a lot of fun. Marco Polo is open and we tried the buffet there it was worth it at 600 bucks that time coz it was soft opening I just dont know if the price is the same. We also got the day trip package of Shang Mactan. 2K you could swim in the pools, beach. and includes buffet lunch in Tides sarap ng food!! Its worth it! Of course nothing beats Cebu lechon!! Kaya nag uwi ako ng 1 whole for 3K. Then if your a fitness first member there is one in Ayala ganda ng gym dun. Enjoy!!

is it true that cebu is much nicer than boracay? (less touristy)

true. if you are a party person boracay is better but if you want heavenly place, no noise, clean air, beautiful views try bantayn island. i recommend ogtong cave. very expensive but the accommodation is so great.

Last time I was here Crown regency in maximo st. lapu lapu is offering 800+Php per day with garage and kitchen units. This is a good option for the ro-ros who are staying for a longer period than usual....also check out the spa on the top floor of crown regency :)

Got a question, guys:

I'm planning to take my girlfriend to Cebu at the end of the month. My budget is around 20-30k. Can you guys suggest a good place to stay na kasya sa budget na to? Sana all-in-one place na (beach resort preferably). Sa Badian kaya?

BTW, two nights stay balak ko

Thanks!

Bro, 2 nites lang pala w/ your budget at this time you can go practically in any of the resort hotels in Mactan. Badian is good but bit far 21/2 to 3 hours by land. suggest scout in the net all good resorts are in the net, then call long distance and as if your just in the city. Book locally and you'll get better rates and probably discounts. para di din halata, wag ka pasundo sa airport. marami naman cab service dun, 200 to 250 bucks and act as if your a regular traveller.

sa budget mo nga pala di kasama airfare? hehehe...mahal na din, halos kalahati na ng budget mo!.... but if your adventurous, try looking into Bantayan Island.... bro, its good as boracay if not better....minus the crowd..... 4 hours drive if not mistaken... there is also a ferry service from the pier... been long time since was there.. sobra sobra na budget mo....

Para sa akin lang ito ha! Opinion ko lang.

Waterfront - ill give them an 8, ok ang buffet breakfast and super clean and nandun lang ang casino sa second floor. Ang ayoko lang eh you need to ride a taxi pa if you want to go out.

mid town hotel - ill give them a 7, ok din ang bfast buffet. Ok na din ang room but not that good as waterfront. Good thing - accessible din sya, lapit lang relight, groceries nsa basement lang pero you need to ride the elevator twice kasi iba pa yung papunta sa hotel.

diplomat - ill give them a 6, ok ang room pero masikip at agawan sa elevator ang liit kasi eh. dami din koreans dito. Per plate lang ang breakfast.

Marco Polo - ill give them an 9, bago pa kasi eh. ok ang breakfast buffet.

Post any destinations that you would like to suggest for people when they visit the Island of Cebu, what are they gonna be expecting, etc.

For Beach Resorts, there are lots of them in Mactan in Lapu-lapu! but if u want to nice and cozy place to stay, I will recommend Camotes Island.... place is quiet and peaceful... and of course, the price is right!
