need your advice and comments.

i had unprotected sex last oct. 2005 with a chatmate, she was still a nursing student that time.prior to that encounter i had sex with an escort, (that was may 2005) but with protection pero oral sex was involved.

 

last jan. 2006, tinubuan ako ng warts sa mukha. nagpachek ako sa derma at sinunog nya.the following week, me tumutubo na naman and when i went back to my derma sabi nya molluscum contagiosum daw un.so pinatangal ko ulit.binigyan nya me ng referral para magpa vdrl-rpr at HIV-ELISA. so nag take ako.while waiting for the result, me tumubo na herpes simplex sa upper lip ko, sabi naman ng isa pang derma, madami daw pwede pagkunan nung herpes di lang sa sex kundi sa infected na mga gamit e.g. tuwalya o sepilyo o dili kaya mahina lang ang immune system mo. never theless binigyan ako ng anti-viral, vit. c at isang solution (forgot the name kc).

 

after 3 weeks, ok naman na ung herpes inflammation.

 

ngayon ung HIV-elisa test ko at vdrl-rpr, ang resulta eh non-reactive....d ko pa napapainterpret ung ibig sabihin non.sa mga doctor dito o medical experts, pwede po ba paki explain ang ibig sabihin ng non-reactive result ng mga tests ko.

HIV-Elisa is used to test for HIV. Non-reactive means you don't have the HIV virus in oyur system. you don't have HIV or AIDS.

VDRL-RPR test is used to detect Syphilis. Non-reactive means you don't have the syphilis bacteria in your bloodstream.

condom usage doesn't guarantee you won't get STD but it give you a more than 95% chance that you won't get any.

Molluscum Contagiosum is not an STD but can be transmitted by skin to skin touch with the area infected with the virus.

Herpes simplex can be transmitted sexually or by oral contact or skin to skin. so if you went down on a girl infected with Herpes you will get Herpes simplex in your mouth. That's why some escorts don't do bare back BJ and preefer to give BJ with Condoms.

Forgot to add. you have to get your private parts checked because there might be a chance that it would be infected by Herpes, especially if you think that the escort is the one who gave you the Virus.

giving away medications like that indiscriminately is one of the reason why many bacteria have developed resistance to the drug. yes the branded med minocin or the generic name which is minocycline used to be the drug with a high cure rate but not anymore my dear menyaks. even the other tetracycline family namely doxycycline used to be an effective one.

yup, you can go to a Urologist or you can be discreet and go for those doctors who specialize in STD. Pwede din mga Dermatologist if its for the Herpes check.

if you have std and is afraid or shy (which is most likely) to go to a legit doctor and would rather go dun sa clinics who offer discreet treatment. i would advice na just go to a doctor talaga sa hospital. look for a doctor for internal medicine. they can offer you discreetness naman eh. plus. PLUS! mas makakamura ka. my uncle's a doctor he said that normally they would charge you 500php for doctor's fee. 500php for the injection service. 1700php for the medicine na ituturok sa butt mo. additional 700php for the antibiotics for 7days. of course go for the generic antibiotic wag na ung branded. parehas lang naman daw effect eh. of course it will be less kung meron kang HMO. that's less the doctor's fee and vaccination fee. i would assume that those who got treated in a discreet clinic already would attest na over priced yung treatment diba? was it 6k-7k? compare to the breakdown i gave you sa hospital talaga.

 

again guys you need not worry about people knowing you're there for std treatment. doctor lang talaga.

Go to a REAL Doctor. If he does not order it, request for a Culture and Sensitivity study of your penile discharge before he prescribes antibiotics. Might be a little expensive but at least you will be treated with the appropriate meds.

 

It is a known fact that MD's in the RP are fond of prescribing broad spectrum antibiotics. Coupled with the patient's non-compliance to the therapy and expensive drugs nagkakaron ng drug resistant bugs.

I highly suggest you do and make it a full screening of other STD so you can have peace of mind if ever negative. This way you can avoid contacting HIV to others.

yes tuloy tuloy ang symptoms ng tulo(like excruciating pain, tulo and the feeling that your member is bout to fall off) kapag di ka uminom ng appropriate antibiotics for it. but after you complete the antibiotics (usually mga 10-14 days) nawawala naman yung symptoms nya unless you contract the bacteria again that causes tulo. :thumbsupsmiley:
