Nagpatest ako yesterday for gono and chlam. Just a regular check-up na I usually do every month. Nagtry ako ng rapid test kits (swab test) para maiba naman. Ang hirap pala ipasok yung swab sa urethra, mahapdi. Haha.

In one hour may result na, buti na lang negative ako pareho. Pero ayaw ko na ng ganung test. Dun na lang ako sa urine test next time.

Pasok sa urethra? Sabi Ng doc sa klinka just the tip lang e haha

Hey, anyone did a (recent/2026) test in HP? Curious lang how much na siya?

Is it one price lang for the HIV/STI test (blood and urine), or pwede STIs lang ipatest(the typical urine test)?

Thanks!

I think it would be prudent to test both blood and urine. And definitely talaga ang HIV! Though sa question mo regarding sa proce im not quite sure. Perhaps some other GM’s can help.

nakausap ko yung sa HP Precision (at least yung malapit sakin) eto yung price for the test:

As of June 2026
Comprehensive test for STDs : 5200 < most heavy hitters, Hiv/hepa/sy
Optional CT/NG PRC Urine : 5900  <the usual stds na curable naman, gono/chla

total of 11.1k  if kkunin ninyo lahat

wala pa yung gamot dyan - ang alam ko yung meds from Dr. Yang asa 2-3k din

Also sinabi nila pwedeng yung CT/NG lang yung ggawin if yung lang yung need ninyo.

so ayun lang, FYI lang sa mga may balak mag patest, napakamahal ng ganitong bisyo hahaha

Just go for the standard screening package for std, no need for the comprehensive as it also screens for hiv/hepa/syph, it would cost you around half of the compre.

Agree, that you can also just opt for the non-pcr urine ct/ng.

The consult alone with Dr. Yang is already at 1.5k from my last check with him a while ago.

While the full list of antibiotics was indeed around 3k+ (not including pep which is 4-5k)

PCR urine ct/ng - two weeks at least.

Ideally nag Doxypep and HIV PEP ka sana within 72 hours of your unprotected encounter.

If you want some form of assurance within a few days, you can try to monitor via regular cbc and urinalysis.

It won't give you a definite answer but it could give an indication that your body is fighting an infection by checking for elevated wbc and/or bacteria count.

Still best to utilize the specific STI test, do a baseline test(right now), and another for the window period per test.(ct/ng 2 weeks, then hiv/hbsag/rpr/tppa 6 weeks)

Hi-precision, just choose a branch that's near you. They have ct/ng urine test. I think 2k+ for the regular one, while 5k+ for the pcr version.(more accurate)

Pcr urine tests are highly accurate, but of course I suggest you follow the recommended steps as well..

Don't pee for at least 1-2 hours before the test, do first catch(not midstream), don't overhydrate as well to avoid diluting and at least 2 weeks post exposure to ensure reliability.

You can do the swab if you really want to experience that feeling but it's unnecesary for guys, the swab is now more recomended for women due to slightly higher accuracy.
