Tsk, wait for marriage na lang kasi before you have sex...which is impossible naman! Pero ang good thing kapag nag-antay ka sa marriage mo is for sure na kayo na lang magsesex and not get STI/STD.

 

 

Here in NZ everything's free, checkups, medications etc.. so im lucky. Sana sa philippines din ganon, dapat sa sex education sa HS, dinidiscuss din ito, too bad hindi. Kasi masyado pa ring conservative ang Philippines.. its really stupid not to talk about STD's in sex education classes!! GRr. Dapat maging aware kasi lahat, hindi ung pinagpipilitan na dont have sex before marriage, eh impossible nga!!

yup. just go to their laboratory. this is where stools and urines are examined, blood tests are performed. tell them you want to have a sperm count. or another approach will be approach a urologist (the male counterpart of the OB-GYNE), who will give you a referral for the lab to do the exam. it depends actually on the procedure of the hospital. some hospital labs entertain direct clients while some hospitals require a referral slip from the urologist.

 

dunno how much the cost is nowadays, but when i had mine six years ago, it was around 550 pesos. again, the time you can get the results vary. some hospitals require you to just return to them the following day for the results while some hospitals can make you wait for at least an hour.

 

what i would recommend, if you are really serious about it is to go by clinics like healthway, m-tech, etc. mas mabilis sila and you can get the results too immediately (within half an hour).

Only problem was that the lab had no private room so you had to do it in the CR - eh that time pagkadumi-dumi ng CR ng UST Hospital so floor level nuong lab tapos mababa lang yung door ng cubicle - hirap tuloy ako kasi nakakaconscious saka nakakadiri yung CR.

 

Hmmmm, why do you need to do this ? Kung may concern ka - like hirap magkababy - better go to a Urologist to get yourself checked.

puwede ka mag walk in sa makati medical. just proceed to the laboratory and

request for a sperm count. But if you're want to have your fertility checked, better

go to a urologist. Sperm count is not the only way to measure fertility.. they also check

the movements and the shape of your substance.

NO !!! Dehins pwdeng iuwi.

 

Kasi other than sperm count - marami pa silang tinitingnan - ang time-sensitive dyan eh yung liquification time (not sure kung ito yung term) ... bale ang explanation ng urologist ko eh after we ej******e - una malagkit right pero lalabnaw yan after a few minutes (10-30 mins.) para makalangoy yung mga cells... para bang from Condensed milk eh magiging Evap If the process takes too long or hindi nagliquify at all - mahihirapan ka raw magka-anak ... Eh sa traffic ng pinas - baka matuyo na yan wala ka pa din sa ospital. Unless 5-mins away ka lang from the lab - kailangan doon ka "maglalabas".

 

Then andyan pa yung motility ata yung term - yung galing sa pagswim ng mga sperm cells or pagiging active nila - kalimutan ko na.

Tapos meron pa yung number of abnormal cells (double-headed) - normal naman ito sa lahat ng lalaki pero may limit - 10% ata lang dapat ang abno.

I forgot kung minemeasure din yung number of "living" cells. Pero alam ko minemeasure din ata kasi sinabihan ako not to drink alcohol/beer a few days before bec. it kills sperm cells so hindi magiging accurate yung reading.

 

So kung magpapatingin ka for a specific reason - the best eh punta ka muna sa Urologist dahil maraming factors silang tinitingnan.

 

BTW, baon ka ng porno mags para may inspiration - just in case pangit yung CR ng ospital na mapuntahan mo ... baka may mga ebs ebs pa sa inidoro eh :sick:

How I wish ganoon nga .. akala ko nga dati parang yung sa movies na may room ka tapos playboy o porno video. Kaso nuong pumunta ako - sa reception pa lang aabutan ka na ng lagayan tapos sasabihin lang pakibalik kaagad. Anyway, not sure now kasi several years ago pa yan = baka ngayon may mga places na may private room na.
