i have a problem po.

with my old old laptop.

asus t9400. LCD died on me. i think. or maybe not.

i can turn it on. but nothing happens after that. just a totally blank black screen.

i don't even hear it boot up. no bios display. no display period. what's wrong? and how much would it cost me to have it fixed?

i was able to figure out mambo. however, i decided to create my own CMS together with 2 other friends.

the web-edit thing, we decided to buss the initial package and mess around with the php code.

mine is asus t9400. a really really old one. went dead on me a few mins ago. waaahhh.

2 days ago. i charged it and turned it off.

i was going to use it today since i plan to work outside, but when i checked it, the LCD won't turn on. the power is on but the LCD won't. any ideas why this happened?

try to go to sunvar. that's near makati cinema square. there's a shop there that specializes in fixing/selling/trading laptops. very good service and very good price. i think it's good deal laptops or something like that.

yung repack ng batt ko 2400 lang. and it functions like it's new.

mambo is good. very efficient. i love it.

but i kinda need a different type of 'cms' now. one similar to WebEdit. but i need something open source or free. webedit i think is around $199. can't afford that. waaah.

i already reviewed hundreds of codes. as i said i'm a newbie, and these codes seem more complex to me than it actually is. posting here has been a last resort. thanks a lot for the help.

hello po. mga php developers naman dyan. pa help. i'm creating an image gallery for a website po. i want to dynamically echo each image's caption. how do i do this? newbie lang po ako sa php.

anybody who knows anything about mambo or any other open source cms please post.

i'm using mambo 4.6 rc2 right now. just downloaded it.

i'm able to manipulate my templates to change the look, but when i go to the administrator side and try to add a new content item or even a new menu item or even a static item. as long as i click on new and then save it or apply it, it gives me an sql error.

im giving it a 2 week learning curve. if i can't learn it in 2 weeks, then i'm shifting to other open source cms.

anybody here familiar with mambo? please help. thanks.
