  1. share this in your networking sites until it reaches may weather. then he'll run out of excuses!

HERE'S AN INTERESTING ARTICLE I'VE READ....

Floyd Mayweather: “To say a guy goes from 105 pounds to this (welterweight), and it’s all natural … come on, man…”

Manny Pacquiao made his pro debut against Edmund Enting Ignacio in January of 1995. He was 16 years old at the time and weighed in at 106 pounds. At 16 years old Floyd Mayweather Jr. won the 1993 USA National Golden Gloves tournament in the 106 pound division.

At 17 years old Manny Pacquiao climbed in to the ring in May of 1996 against John Medina and weighed 114 pounds. At the same tender age of 17 Mayweather captured a USA National Golden Gloves title again, this time at (you guessed it) 114 pounds.

  2. we're peaking at the right time. deocampo played one hell of a game. he's taking some defense off douthit kaya hindi masyadong hirap si douthit inside.i think his confidence in this tournament is very evident na. good luck sa ting lahat mamaya! i think its at 6pm.

did you notice how cris tiu is becoming a physical player in this tournament? nakakatuwa the stand his showing off against these taller players. magulang na!

  3. kung sabagay thats true. pero they have to be more consistent. and they have to address their confidence level. the way i look at it all teams are very beatable except china. we have to have a super game to beat china. they're so big and talented. but of course, we believe.

in their game against JORDAN, malaking bagay ang ginawa ni TAULAVA and ALAPAG.. then dun sa game against JAPAN, double digits sa game sila WILLIAMS and ALAPAG, plus malaking bagay yung mga power plays ni DE OCAMPO during the 4th period. kaya hindi masasabing amateur and disappointment yung ibang pro-athletes natin sa team. and, as long as we're winning, walang disappoinment sa mga players.

  4. jimmy alapag is the heart and soul of smart gilas. the other pba players look more amateurish than amateur players of smart giles. especially williams and taulava. walang reliever si douthit na reliable. alapag should take more three's. he's the only reliable shooter there. deocampo so far is a disappointment. nevertheless, great job.

  5. sayang! i really think ravena is ready for the olympic qualifier games. too bad timing is bad. i don't think ateneo will allow him at this stage. for parks, yes i think he should try the sea games first. baguio and tubid too will fit well with international games. na-limit lang masyado sa talk and text players ang smart gilas. and reliable shooters are what we badly need. they should really seriously start looking for one. in the mode of caidic and engeland. ranidel deocampo is shaping up to be one. sayang si ritualo. he's too much of a push-over to play in the international league. and his confidence level now is so low. maybe because bangko siya most of the time.

I totally agree pero Parks and Ravena siguro pang SEA Games muna sila the fact that they ar yet to mature eh for sure hindi pa yan papayagan ng mga mother teams nila na magfull-time.

they are second rate players in THEIR country, precisely why isang tawag lang nandito sila agad. the opportunity is here in the mestizo-loving country. if they are starting players in their country, i really doubt if they will be at our beck and call. ditto with asi. dito lang naman siya nagka-career so he'll make tahe most out of it. national or commercial. the local player's lament is that ever since is that its fil-ams before them. thats why they're so cold about it. they are second stringers to the fil-am in their OWN team in their OWN country. these locals who wants to live and die with their team but won't be given a chance.

choosing between chiffy and younghusband? my personal opinion is chiffy is much better because his goals are during the plays. the younghusbands goals are partly because they are the designated free kickers by the FOREIGN coach. and choosing between being an unsupported and tinapakan na paddler na nagbigay ng karangalan sa bansa and a filipino paddler na naglaro na lang for another country dahil hidi siya appreciated dito? what do you think?

to me it's a no brainer. and the answer i think ay hindi pagiging tanga.

hindi tayo mga tanga! Nasa abroad kasi ang maga gandang opportunities. Kaya millions ang ating OFWs. Kung dito sila mananatili, look what is happening na sa Dragon Boat, nagbigay ng karangalan, tinapakan pa ng mga politkos. Ganun lang yun. They have the heart. They represent the Philippines. They were injured dahil sa pag laro sa ating bansa. Unlike, lets say, sa basketball natin. Ang daming PBA players na ayaw maglaro para sa ating bansa. Imagine, Asi Taulava pa, isang tawag para sa bansa, laro kaagad! Sina Aquino, Ildefonso, Ritualo, etc. daming dahilan. They may be second rated players sa bansang nilakihan nila but they played for our country, second lang ang pagiging mestiza, which, I think its not whats on their mind. Di naman lahat ng Fil-foreigner qualified at may mga na disqualified din na maglaro sa Azkals. Again, hindi sila at tayo tanga!

  7. MVP, according to an article by Quinito Henson, is spending roughly 300 million for the Gilas to come into being. That's around the budget of a PBA team for 6 years. So let's continue supporting the efforts of Smart executives instead.

300M is small for an advertising budget. small portion lang yan out of the billions na advertising budget smart for a year. i would to support smart's effort. problem is the effort pala has nothing to do with the country but for the mileage of the brand. otherwise tuloy ang contract ng mga players that they invested on, to fulfill the main goal which is the olympic qualifier next month. unless, narealize na hindi pala talaga magagaling yung nakuha nila sa national team so they opted to let them go, and look for new ones. and it took toroman 3 years to know if his players can or cannot. new coach na rin maybe?

  8. Nice point. It's either negative or positive racism. So it really does not work well for both parties, i.e., the natives and the Fil-foreigners. I have a little foreign blood too so I can really tell whether it's good or bad. It's definitely bad if you think about either superiority or inferiority attitude.

    safe answer.

point is lets respect us. matuto tayong bumilib sa mga sarili natin. kahit PANGO tyo!

  9. part of the moro moro called pba. hope petron wins. pero parang nagmomoro-moro pa rin sila. going to game 7.

    Petron wins over TnT. 98-83.

so basically, laglag n BGK. kahit manalo pa sila in this game.

if Bgk wins, Petron vs. TnT.

if Bgk loses, Alaska vs. TnT.

  10. what the stupid f#&k is that?!! their contract is a month short of their main goal which the olympic qualifier? and tanga naman! naman they have to start from scratch to play the qualifier a month from now? what foresight!!!

  11. ang pagiging pilipino is not only by blood or affinity. puso! let them live here and be like us. not just go here when its convenient and profitable. and famous. they're second rate players in THEIR country and exploiting the mestizo-adoring filipinos. kung sabagay tayo naman ang tanga that looks up pag foreigner. we deserve them.

We, too, are foreigner by blood, just like some Azkas. Nagkataon lang sa abroad sila pinanganak. Unless you look like an Igorot or an Aeta, you, too, are not a pure Pilipino. Its not overhype. The team just made history by making it to the 2nd round for the first time in Philippine football history. We are still new to football, popularity and pansinan. So, lets just support the team and applaude whether they make victories here and abroad. May dugong Pinoys naman sila.
