You are so lucky to have a family that views you as such. And not as a cash cow. This, on the otherhand; is the sad reality of Filipino OFWs. I have a classmate from HighSchool who has been a seafarer for more than two decades now; Sadly, he's the designated cash cow of the family... typical sad story of an "investment" child.

Indeed. Living as a single is Ok & I am thankful that I have my doggos with me... but then; I still need some human interaction. I sometimes look forward to our team/department meeting via Teams; there we could somehow chill a bit & make pun of the events that happened during the week. After that has died down and everything is quiet again... I still long for another human being that I can talk to. May not be in person; just another human voice that I can interact with & share my day. Not a multo ha; a Live Person, a real Live person.
