  2. I think I'm not just afraid to die. I'm terrified of it. Late one night, I was lying in bed thinking that if I fall asleep, there was a possibility for me to never wake up again and I was gripped by this horrible fear. I couldn't breathe. I was so scared. I still get the feeling every so often but I try not to dwell on it too much. I think part of my fear stems from the fact I will have to go through the whole process of dying alone.

  3. The interaction of the members. It really feels like a community. Also, it provides a medium for the exchange of ideas and opinions. I have learned a lot from members' posts on so many topics ranging from the mundane to the intellectually stimulating to the foolish. :D

  4. Foreigners have to pay a "education fund fee" na twice yata ng tuition sa UP on top of regular tuition... anyone without a Philippine citizenship kahit dito na pinanganak...

I suppose foreign students help make UP more "internationally progressive" especially going towards research output as a strategy.  Tutal wala namang magawa ang UP admin sa idle lands na squattered na kasi, bawal galawin.

There's also the fact that UP maintains many programs most especially graduate and post-graduate, that other schools avoid because hindi popular but necessary, like social work, women studies, etc.

Also, included sa UP budget ang operation ng PGH. Even now that UP is scaling down its Med program, it still has to keep PGH in full operation.

I think the reason why they (foreign students) pay more is also because the taxpayers' subsidy is removed from their matriculation. :D

  5. Hey I!

It was great to see you in bora, again! Kinda reminded me of that first time. You must have thought I was the weirdest girl on earth...hahaha Well, I felt weird. For one I was surprised you were even there. Plus the fact that we were hanging out together, just blew me away. When you sat next to me in Aria and stayed there the whole night, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I hope you didn't notice that I hardly spoke. I was literally dumbfounded! I couldn't believe it...

Did you know that Celeste thought we were a couple? I wish! :D

I can't believe that we took a dip at 4am and my luck when Wins and Epie left us, alone. I felt like I was dreaming the whole time and in my dream I was mute. I so wanted to reach out to you, but I didn't know how.

I will never forget that falling star moment we shared. You asked me if I made a wish and I told you I had forgotten. I was too excited to see that star, I said. But now that I think about it, I didn't need to make a wish. I got my wish that night, with you.

PS I kept the text message you sent to Wins. Well, she sent it to me and I think I will hang on to it for a while, just so I'm sure that night happened for real...that it wasn't just a dream.

  6. I once owned and proudly wore an "I  HUNKS!" baby-t!

kaya lang may humiram d na sinoli! laking tuwa ng pwends ko! :boo: :boo: :boo:

ps as in hunks (aka jericho, diether, piolo and bernard)

  7. Hassle ba kung Holy Week ako pupunta? Will I enjoy the place ba kung medyo marami rami yung mga tao? B)

I went there this Holy Week...grabe ang daming tao! I won't go back to bora ng peak season! Kaloka! But I only spent 3500 for a 6 day stay...libre ni brother ticket...libre ni wins bahay...d mashado matu kasi sacrifice...tambay lang whole day sa boracay scuba (love you djila, luis and apo, giller)...napamahal lang ako dun sa practice poi! :D

If you want to chillax on a budget...try baila, its a small bar sa D'Mall...enter between Cafe del Sol and Aria...ok yung margaritas (pink and blue)! to the left of the Andoks...black lights...hehe

If you want to eat a lot on a budget...Smoke at the back of D'Mall...sarap ng food! (the locals eat there!) Cheaper than the restos sa strip...or mag chori or longa burger ka. Pinaka masarap na choriburger yung sa manang sa tapat ng summer place tapos yung champion na longa burger yung stall after that going toward D'Mall....

    I loooooove bora! :D

  8. um pwede na ung pearl of the pacific. un lang alam ko eh tska un ung nasa budget

Actually, Pearl has one of the best beach fronts in white beach....but the service has deteriorated and the facilities haven't been maintained well. I stayed there with some friends last November. The rooms were small and smelled funny. The food was AWFUL! We got free breakfasts and dinner with our package but we only ate there once! Blech! Their bbq tasted like kerosene!  Mas masarap pa yung bbq sa tapat ng summer place! <_<

But the massages we got at the spa there were just heavenly! :hypocritesmiley:  :thumbsupsmiley:

I hope they work on that place...its such a waste really! :goatee: :goatee:
